It used to be every Friday night on here - without fail. What the heck happened?

I've got a bottle of red open, and my DH is going to be late, picking up DS on his way back, so no one but me and the dog here.

His conversational skills are lacking...

I had one for 'dessert' at Pizza Express once, and the person making it had not measured it out right - lordy what a great night - pished as a fart on one delicious drink. !! Result.

Oh I bloody loved the Friday night pissed thread. The best thing was trying to decipher it the next day......

Ooh can I join? Just had my first glass of red. Sat in dressing gown and pjs on the sofa. Told the family to fend for themselves for dinner because I'm not cooking! Had a cracking result at work today which, believe me, is few and far between these days so I could definitely do with some chill and chatting.

Of course, having seen a thread on here from a little while ago, some of you may be offended by me being in my comfy clothes and snuggled on the sofa under a blanket but that's fine. Feel free to perch in your best clothes and we can still have a great time!

We I’ve just had a glass of red to tidy up the ‘nearly empty’ bottle. Now to cook burger and chips which has been our Friday night dinner for the last 20 years. (The rest of the week I cook all healthy stuff from scratch but we both look forward to burger and chips all week). In other news Ocado have just delivered this.

That would normally be so off the radar twee I’d be forced to boycott, but being honest I’d smash that box in a one-ner. Cheers Ocado.

I’m having my ONE glass of red this eve in about an hour with a big juicy sexy steak and some potato dauphinoise and some samphire.

I know that’s too little alcohol to qualify for this thread but you guys don’t seem like rabid Covid nutjobs so I’ll stay safe here.

Ooooh Happy Days! The Friday night drunk thread. Happy memories. My Friday nights are usually too busy to get drunk and ramble on MN these days but tonight we are all home, I've had a couple of glasses of pretty mediocre semillon Chardonnay. We have spent the evening carving pumpkins and putting together a Halloween playlist on iTunes. Some of my children had never heard Thriller before. I have been doing parenting wrong!
