What type of threads do you hide?

I hide Christmas threads (the consumerism over gifts is particularly irritating).
I hid everything trans related ages ago when it was overwhelming the site.
I have also hidden baby names because it isn't relevant to my life stage.
Sometimes I hide sad threads about serious illness.
You?

@Dowdser - to be honest, going to a nightclub would be a nightmare for me. I didn't like them when I was young.

"Is this enough?"

Usually followed by a list which sounds more like a warehouse stock-take.

Ragwort · 21/10/2020 17:00

^^ Quite agree, there's one on active threads at the moment, wish I'd never looked at it, I never comment any more because you look very sanctimonious if you point out that it sounds like an excessive amount of gifts .....

anuffername · 21/10/2020 17:24

@Ragwort Yes, that's the one that reminded me why I should automatically hide them!

Andylion · 21/10/2020 17:36

@Dowser what does AD stand for?

Also, what does WAG stand for?

JoeCalFuckingZaghe · 21/10/2020 17:48

The entire feminism board, the place is a toxic shitpit.

DianaT1969 · 21/10/2020 19:13

Yes, there was a Christmas one 'Is 10 gifts per DC enough?' posted in May/June when people were losing their jobs.
Some people can't read a room...

Any thread with the title Mrs Hinch in it. I usually report them, as it's either her marketing team or a bitter competitor. Never heard of her outside MN.

AD is Anti Dementor. It started as a reaction to the utter hysteria manifesting itself in many threads on the Coronavirus board.

WAG is Word Association Game.

Thank you, @anuffername
.

Diadora30 · 22/10/2020 14:37

Threads about horrible things that have happened to children.

SAHM bashing threads

How much do you earn? Threads

Breast v bottle

Why do women put themselves in vulnerable positions with no pension threads.

School packed lunch threads.

Diadora30 · 22/10/2020 14:39

Just to add, I do love a good ‘how old am I’? Thread.
