Might be related way back though. The chances of people with the same surname from roughly the same part of the world are much higher than for those who don't share those characteristics.

He's not my type, albeit I can't stop seeing Fred West when I see him now.

EyelinerRocks · 14/10/2020 14:00

The note thing was really really really weird.

kwaziseyepatch · 14/10/2020 14:22

This thread is hilarious!
Nothing to add but placemarking

Elderflower14 · 14/10/2020 14:32

How ironic I've just watched LJ mobile phone advert... "Wouldnt it be nice to share the things you normally can't??... 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 😂 😂 😂 😂

EachandEveryone · 14/10/2020 14:46

😃😃

Simon from Corrie looks like his love child.

I’d love to know what the cast from The affair are making of it all

Someone up thread said they are no Taylor and Burton then I remembered he was Burton. He is a good actor we can’t say he isn’t.

Shame he couldn't manage to act sorry at that photo session ...

Nailed the smug though.

They’ve escaped to their castle apparently

I hope there's a moat equipped with crocodiles and that she throws him into it.

I think Dominic might be a Mumsnetter! Chatting to Graham Norton he says he was a complete bridezella over his wedding! Dom, if you're on here, please do an AMA for us.

billy1966 · 14/10/2020 17:04

He's utter slime.

Cheating on his wife, the kiss outside for the press was like some ghastly Tory 80's re run.

How she allowed herself to be humiliated like that.
Poor woman must be in some fog.

Utterly humiliating for his children.
They will be mocked for this, jealous kids can be very cruel.

He comes across as a sleezy old man.

Absolutely no judgement.

Ick.

Hopefully his wife will get sence and tell him sling his hook.

That young woman doesn't seem impressed with his slathering...🤢

Im guessing this all looks so bizarre because lots and lots of booze is being knecked (necked? is it a silent k?)

user1471565182 · 14/10/2020 17:08

I cant believe him and Damian Lewis were in the same interview- they occupy the same place in my imagination and just do each others roles.

They were at Eton together too, I think.

Only one word...to quote Uncle Matthew....’sewers’.
Adore all the Nancy Mitford books, but casting LJ as Linda in this new production seemed completely wrong. Will stick with the earlier BBC production with Alan Bates, Celia Imrie etc.

I think the crocs would be more discerning.

An oubliette seems far more appropriate.

EachandEveryone · 14/10/2020 18:29

I don’t think Damian Lewis is like that, I don’t get that vibe.

He used to come in to my old place of work. Back when he play3d laertes. He was so charming, not creepy, but he kept anybody who wasnt his sort at a bit of a polite distance. Without ever being rude.
user1471565182 · 14/10/2020 18:49

I actually really like Damian Lewis, but they both went to Eton I think and played americans in brilliant series (Band of Brothers and the first series of the wire, dont care about the others) so I confuse them

stillsomewhatsheldonesque · 14/10/2020 18:59

A lovely big teddy bear 🧸
That is letting his big lady bum push his little boy part into a damsel’s buttocks?

What brand of bear is that then? Stiff?

TheOneWhoWalksInTheSun · 14/10/2020 19:05

Bless him.

Hiddennameforever · 14/10/2020 19:08

@EachandEveryone I was saying this since I started watching The Affair.
He looks so much like him. I actually googled if it could be true.
