How comes every single time I have five guys I get a stomach upset ?

I’ve obviously decided I can’t eat it anymore as this happens everytime
I’ll have to stick to Nando’s when our shopping etc
But it’s so odd as no where else upset my stomach like this
Just makes me wonder why is it ?
Other fast food doesn't have this effect on me

More than likely a particular ingredient/spice they use. Not really helpful but I can't eat Walkers cheese and onion crisps. I can eat any other Walkers flavour and any other brand of c & o.

On the actual subject of thread... I can’t eat fast foods like five guys, McDonald’s etc. I guess it’s because Nando’s is ‘proper’ cooked food for want of a better word.

Every time I have a McDonalds I get a real problem with flatulence. I have, at great personal cost in the name of Science, tested this out by trying different McDonalds products at different branches and it's always the same. It doesn't happen if I get a Burger King.

Me and DS have only had five guys once, it upset our stomachs and we've never had one since. Thought it was expensive and overrated anyway.

Never had five guys. Well, all at once like. Cooked in oil/lard etc.

I love a 5 guys and have never been ill neither has my partner. So it's definitely not everyone. I feel like they are super clean compared to any other fast food restaurants. I have no vested interest in defending them! I just think it's harsh if people think they're bad or dirty.

If you mostly eat chicken elsewhere you may just have reached that stage in life where red meat is a rare treat?!

I think anyone one get stomach issues after having 5 guys

I’ve never had them but perhaps they have a certain spice in them that upsets your stomach

I imagine the spice would vary between the guys........ I suggest you don't do five guys all in one day, space them out a bit and see how it goes. Be safe!

@Lardlizard i don't like any fast food places there so bad for you my kids alwaus ask and i tell them no its bad for you. they always get in a strop for it. i dont think kids should have anything bad for them only 1 sweet a week is fine
