...just that really. I’m currently using the Bold lavender liquid & the Fairy - snuggly soft fabric conditioner. I do love a fabric conditioner.

shop's own biological, no fabric conditioner.
as long as the smell isnt too pungent.

Persil powder bio on sheets towels and whites, persil colour gel for most clothes, comfort pure conditioner

Mamia15 · 22/09/2020 07:46

No fabric conditioner here. It's a con, terrible for the environment and I hate the smell and feel of clothes doused in it.

My clothes last and stay in great condition as a result.

Aldi capsules and Aldi fabric conditioner.

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 22/09/2020 07:59

Smol bio capsules and Fairy softener. It reminds me of when DS was a baby. I’ve got a little box of whatever powder is on offer for when I wash a small load of whites and don’t need a whole pod for it.

I’m intrigued about the Smol fabric softener. Might give it a try.

Well, I have been using Ecover colour liquid which seemed great but my clothes seem to get stinky very fast. So back to persil or ariel colour liquid.

I use bio powder (sainsburys own brand or ariel/persil if they're on offer) for whites.

Any plant based softener. Currently using an M&S one.

Smol here too. The fabric conditioner has a lovely subtle fragrance. Love all their products. Good value for money too. smolproducts.com/

Where do you buy smol from? & what’s different about them?

Asda smartprice powder is fantastic, mildly scented, cleans fantastically, really cheap and doesn't clog the drawer up. I used to only use surf but I've not looked back since trying this. I use comfort lavender too.

troppibambini · 22/09/2020 18:05

Ariel powder, lenor spring something or other its blue and the balls that match that you throw on the drum.

whirlwindwallaby · 22/09/2020 18:06

Supermarket brand non-bio powder and fabric conditioner. I don't use fabric conditioner every time, just when the clothes are getting crunchy, never on towels.

ChinOfThanos · 22/09/2020 18:10

Used to use Bold same as OP, switched to asda own brand moonflower something or something tablets, they're excellent

You subscribe on the website and they send them through the post as little or as often as you fancy.

There’s nothing groundbreaking about them but they’re cardboard packaged so less plastic, smell nice (to me anyway) and it’s one less thing to carry home from the supermarket. They do dishwasher tablets too but I can’t say if they’re any good personally.

I use aerial or Persia powder as powder is better for your machine I have read. Then use vinegar as fabric softener. Think I got that tip off here.

Dee1975 · 22/09/2020 19:36

Whichever is on offer ..🤣

theneverendinglaundry · 22/09/2020 20:17

I want to try smol but am not keen on capsules or tablets. If you do a half load it's a waste of detergent! Much prefer liquid or powder so I can measure out exactly what I need.
