.. where do you buy your clothes? What brands?

I often end up feeling like maybe I'm looking too old for my age , then go the opposite and feel like I'm trying too hard to look youngHmm

CatBatCat · 10/09/2020 16:14

Charity shops and second hand auction online stores.

Sparklyring · 10/09/2020 16:16

I like Tk Maxx, New Look and Next

FTMF30 · 10/09/2020 16:16

H&M is my go-to place.

Bunnybigears · 10/09/2020 16:18

Primark, Tesco, Sainsburys. Very rarely anywhere else to be honest.

SephrinaX · 10/09/2020 16:19

Dorothy Perkins for me mainly, but then I am restricted as I need tall range clothing.

I'm too old for TopShop and too young for LTS!

SometimesItRains · 10/09/2020 16:19

I’m 37. The things I wear the most at the moment are jeans/trousers from Boden, tops from Mint Velvet, Crew Clothing (some of their smarter stuff for work), Ralph Lauren (in the sale) and Phase 8 (quite nice for knitwear if you steer clear of some of their mother if the bride style stuff), some dresses from Hush. As I’ve got older I’ve noticed I’m gravitating towards plainer clothes that are well cut - all fancy Boden-style prints make me feel frumpy and middle aged.

DisgruntledPelican · 10/09/2020 16:20

H&M, New Look, DP, used to be Oasis before they reappeared as an ASOS/PLT brand Angry, Warehouse.

Lyricallie · 10/09/2020 16:21

Almost 30 but Mango, ASOS, Oliver Bonas, new look. There was quite a good thread on this recent (maybe last month) with loads of ideas.

NeutralJanet · 10/09/2020 16:22

Primark and George at Asda mostly.

Ishihtzuknot · 10/09/2020 16:22

Primark, asda or everything5pound. Not popular options because it’s all cheap and the quality sometimes shows, but I can’t afford decent stuff

AdventureCode · 10/09/2020 16:25

Asos
Toast
Boden
Sainsburys
New look

Soonbechrimbo · 10/09/2020 16:26

Asda 😂

Waxonwaxoff0 · 10/09/2020 16:26

I'm 30. I like a vintage/grunge style so I usually buy pre owned vintage pieces from charity shops and Asos marketplace. I don't have many clothes and I don't wear fast fashion.

Wexone · 10/09/2020 16:26

Just discovered Mint Velvet - Amazing stuff

20viona · 10/09/2020 16:27

Topshop, asos boohoo Zara.

CarrieFour · 10/09/2020 16:28

Primark, supermarkets, DPs, New Look.

Shoes are really the only thing I buy branded.

Oh well coats I will spend a little more on too.

MonkeyPuddle · 10/09/2020 16:28

Babyg1995 · 10/09/2020 16:29

PLT or boohoo or Primark

LER83 · 10/09/2020 16:29

There's a limited amount of places I can shop as need petite! But at the moment its Next, Tu, Dorothy Perkins and have recently discovered Boden have a petite range so am going to get some key pieces from there when I can afford it! I feel like I've been stuck in a 'safe, school run' type clothing rut, so am making an effort to dress up a little more in dresses and skirts!

PinkyBrain · 10/09/2020 16:29

ASOS, New Look, Miss Selfridge, Ted Baker.

JoJoSM2 · 10/09/2020 16:30

A bit of designer stuff, esp Max Mara, DVF and Tory Burch. On the high street: White Company, Uniqlo, Cos, Massimo Dutti, Ralph Lauren Polo.

Wexone · 10/09/2020 16:31

Zara, Mango, Savida and Gallery Brands in Dunnes store, Tesco's, Have a few nice boutiques that stock second female Marc O'Polo, Indi and Cold and Ottadam( fab Italian brand expansive but amazing quality ) Cos. Look on ebay and depop too pick up some bargains. Always hops in store you cant normally afford in the sales as you will get some nice stuff. I tend to stick to neutral clothing, good quality, stuff that can be layered and dressed up if need be and wont date. will work for al occasions

GreySkyClouds · 10/09/2020 16:34

Work: the fold
Not work: anywhere cheap
