Very sad news. Awful that her privacy was invaded in this way.

LastResorts · 26/08/2020 13:15

38 is so young. I really do hope for the best outcome for her. It’s really shocked me too. I feel awful for her and people in a similar situation. I find the bravery & strength overwhelming

Calledyoulastnightfromglasgow · 26/08/2020 13:18

It’s a bastard cancer. Wishing her well

Such sad news. I'm finding find the headlines baffling though: Sarah Harding says she has breast cancer. Why the need for 'says she has'? Why not just 'Sarah Harding has breast cancer'? It's like they don't believe her. Weird.

DowntonCrabby · 26/08/2020 13:24

Fuck cancer Angry

SchadenfreudePersonified · 26/08/2020 13:29

@GnomeOrMistAndIceGuy

God, why can;t people's private medical issues stay private? Massive shame on the person who posted seeing her in hospital!
Agree.

When someone is coping with "news" like this, the last thing they need is people spying on their pain, or private family grief.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 26/08/2020 13:33

Is this the feeling when popstars you grew up with get cancer- so shocked and saddened

bridgetreilly · 26/08/2020 13:33

Who?

strugglingwithlife · 26/08/2020 13:38

So awful, I've always liked her, shocked Sad

tentative3 · 26/08/2020 13:39

@bridgetreilly you might not know who Sarah Harding is but are you familiar with Google?

WheresMyMilk · 26/08/2020 13:40

@bridgetreilly

Who?
Why not google instead of writing something so dismissive on a thread about a young woman with advanced breast cancer?
Egghead68 · 26/08/2020 13:40

Terrible news.

loobylou10 · 26/08/2020 13:40

@bridgetreilly google is your friend in this instance! Poor Sarah, I hope she recovers.

Pinkiii · 26/08/2020 13:42

Very shocking and sad news. Hopefully being young will help her beat this.

Ah that's so sad. I really feel for her and her family. Being diagnosed with an incurable condition is bad enough without then being forced into sharing with the world. Awful.

WorraLiberty · 26/08/2020 13:45

@bridgetreilly

Who?
Really poor form on a thread like this.

It makes people look silly when they do that on any thread but to do it on a thread about a woman with an aggressive form of cancer?

Heidi1976 · 26/08/2020 13:45

Apologies, I mean't to write incurable.

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 26/08/2020 13:47

I'm not shocked at the invasion of privacy. It's disgusting and needs something done about it. Celebrities are people too and they deserve some bloody privacy to deal with their health matters privately.

I'm not shocked at some smart arse coming on a thread about a young lady with cancer to simply write "who" either. It just goes to show some people in life don't have any empathy at all.

I wish Sarah all the best. Cancer is a fucking bastard.

SoManyActivities · 26/08/2020 13:48

Well said.

SoManyActivities · 26/08/2020 13:49

Sorry, meant to quote Worras post there.

pintsizeprincess · 26/08/2020 13:50

Awful news. Poor woman. Hope she makes a full recovery.

loobylou10 · 26/08/2020 13:52

@Heidi1976 terrible news Sad

hoistbymyownzombiepetard · 26/08/2020 13:53

Awful that her privacy was invaded by someone posting online

Why can't people's private medical issues stay private

...going public about her health just because some attention seeker posted about her online

Celebrities are people too and they deserve some bloody privacy to deal with their health matters privately

Can none of you see the irony in these statements?

Trailing1 · 26/08/2020 13:53

It's sad that she was forced into making this public, before she was ready (she may not have wanted to at all) Mind you the state of society these days I'm more surprised that the person who saw her in hospital didn't go up and ask her for an autograph!

Anyway I wish her the best.
