Tea towels - how do you wash yours?

Do people wash them separately or stick them in with an ordinary wash?

I always do mine separately, but it means they are hanging around until I have a few to do.

I'm not sure whether everyone segregates things that go on bodies from things that go on things that food goes on or if I am being a bit ridiculous...

Don’t know why that’s quoted! Was meant to be a stand-alone comment.

Bath and hand towels get washed on sixty degrees.

Tea towels and cleaning cloths get washed on sixty degrees.

Then every few months I’ll do each of those on ninety.

I try to wait for a hot wash - so when I’m doing beds or bath towels etc. I have a lot of tea towels so don’t normally have a problem with turnover.

I probably use them for longer than I should but I air dry hand washed items 99% of the time.
