This black Merc does this constantly!! Everyone else that parks there at least makes an effort to park up on cerb. Those neighbors has 5 cars due to 2 adult children.
Shall I leave a note? If there's a 2nd car on my drive he makes it really difficult.

Completely agree @MrsTravers. The assumption that blocking a pavement is better than having to drive out carefully past a parked car is outrageous!

I do think it’s a bit inconsiderate to park opposite someone’s driveway if it can be avoided. I know that’s not always possible.

But having said that, I also agree with PP’s that OP isn’t being blocked in here, and OP would find it easier to get out of the drive if the car was reversed in.

We reverse into our drive, it’s so much easier driving out forwards if someone’s parked opposite.

Parking opposite your drive is not illegal even if it impedes your access. If there are other places to park, people should use them.

We have this from people over the road with four cars. They park as close to their house regardless of how awkward it might be for others and often opposite driveways. They could park more considerately but are not prepared to walk 20 seconds so that emergency services could get through easier. Parking wankers.

I'd say they don't see an issue as they are probably assuming you are able to drive.

Honestly, if you can't reverse out of there, you probably need a few driving lessons to get you up to scratch. If you can reverse out of there, then you're just looking for offence where it doesn't exist.

I dont understand why you think its cheeky? You should be reversing Into your drive it would make it easier for you to drive out. You cant put a note on his car when he is doing nothing wrong

Are you going to move those bins and stop blocking the pavement?
