Can someone please tell me what funny tv is about ?

I am so fed up of this shitshow of a half life we are all living and need cheering up.

I have Netflix and Prime but am struggling to find something to make me laugh at the moment.

And when I say about I actually mean around .

I am so pissed off i can't string a sentence together properly any more.

Thank you, I haven't watched parks and recreation so might give that a go.

It's really really funny ! I didnt like the first episode but after that I was hooked!

The good place is funny it's on Netflix. I watch it on ch4 but all are on netflix . It depends what is your usual sense of humour

I don't get Brooklyn 99 Dh loves it leaves me cold !

DS (17) persuaded us to give Brooklyn 99 a go during lockdown and we've just finished series 5 - it's very funny with a really warm heart to it. Have loved it and I'm difficult to please with comedy.

I have watched all of these other than parks and recreation so I think that will be the one
I love Taskmaster and Black Books the most out of the ones people have said.

The Young Offenders on Iplayer.

I think Green Wing is still available on All4. A bit surrealistic if you like that sort of thing.

Shakespeare and Hathaway - BBC iplayer - not laugh out loud but sweet. It’s a Midsommers murder/Death in Paradise type drama set in Stratford Upon Avon. Lighthearted and enjoyable.

Mallory Towers - also on BBCiplayer. Again, not a comedy but a lovely dramatisation if the books. All very innocent. Real escapism. Should have been broadcast on Early Sunday evenings and not hidden away on CBBC. Real family viewing.

The Goldbergs - quite enjoy this.

St trinnian films - the original ones and the newer ones.

Staged on iPlayer with David Tenant and Michael Sheen. Loved it.

Staged is a real treat I loved it too speaking of Tennant and sheen Good omens on prime is a joy !

I have already watched Staged ( did love it ) And I have seen Omens a while ago.

This plague has clearly given me too much time to watch tv.

I have just watched Hamilton ( not a comedy) absolutely loved it !

But, parks and recreation is next on my list.

Santa Clarita Diet is also very funny but pretty gruesome, on Netflix

Dead To Me on Netflix got me out of a Debbie downer slump during lockdown, so fun I’ve watched it twice.

What we do in the shadows on iPlayer is my absolute favourite at the moment
