I'm home alone briefly and feel like crap. I'm watching Captain Marvel again. The familiarity is soothing.

Any of the Jurassic park films, I think it's the john William's sound track I really love

Those and the fast and furious films

I don’t have a movie as such, I watch Scrubs!

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 13/07/2020 16:04

Four Weddings and a funeral.

Watched it twice back to back last year when I was feeling horribly morning-sick on a 11h flight.

BalloonSlayer · 13/07/2020 16:15

Jurassic park.
Hot Fuzz (I shut my eyes in the violent bits)

Alonelonelyloner · 13/07/2020 16:16

Mystic Pizza and Hope Floats.

Normally I'm a sci-fi movie person, but when I'm sad.....

I usually go for TV shows too (love Scrubs definitely but it makes me cry too often!)

Currently watching the king and the mockingbird which I find really comforting.

Otherwise it’s stuff I watched endlessly as a child - both famous five series, Disney classics like sword in the stone, fawlty towers, vicar of dibley

Imadreamer44 · 13/07/2020 16:22

Mamma mia, both films. Cheesy and feelgood.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 13/07/2020 16:26

Harry potter and the Grinch. I love the Grinch. I probably watch it about 3 times a year.

xanthippe8 · 13/07/2020 16:27

Anita and Me, the sound track takes me back to my childhood/early teens.

Tana433 · 13/07/2020 16:41

A Woman Of Substance, the Barbara Taylor Bradford novel tv adaptation. Or "The Shell Seekers" adapted from a Rosamund Pilcher book. Both brilliant.

Mehmaid · 13/07/2020 17:32

Moonstruck with Cher and Nic Cage. It's wacky but lovely and such good fun

The Wizard of Oz
