Today Pippa and Patrick have taken Mabel Rose out in the pram. They are in Eastgate Park.

They sit down on a bench and watch the ducklings. "I expect Mabel Rose will love watching the ducklings when she is older." says Patrick.

Today there are lots of dragonflies on the bulrushes.

Pippa and Patrick see some pretty butterflies.

They have arranged to meet Kirsten in the park. She brings a folding table and chair.

She has also brought flasks and mugs. They enjoy a socially distanced cup of tea.

Pippa has turned the pram round so that Kirsten can see Mabel Rose. But Kirsten doesn't stand too close.

petalpower · 08/07/2020 17:46

Lovely as usual.😀

ChessieFL · 08/07/2020 17:53

Ah, how lovely.

Nquartz · 08/07/2020 18:37

Lovely weather as usual Smile

Pippa got her figure back quickly, I'm jealous Wink

Horsemad · 08/07/2020 20:12

Aah, first walk 🙂 I remember doing that when DS was 5 days old; I was exhausted when we got back and we didn't go that far! 😆

SoMuchToBits · 08/07/2020 22:21

Our first trip out with pram was in December! Much nicer at this time of year, even though Playmoland weather has been better than ours today! May have more photos tomorrow, hope so!

I'm glad Pippa and Patrick have been able to show off their new baby, if only at a distance! Also that some Playmolanders have good haircuts again.

DP was doing mine with the clippers at the weekend. At one point, she said 'Oh dear'. Then 'How can I make this right?' Grin It wasn't a disaster, actually, just unusually short at the front.

BubbleIsNotAFuckingVerb · 09/07/2020 09:39

Loved the baby going out! So sweet.

Our first trip with first DC was to the pub for lunch Grin

SoMuchToBits · 09/07/2020 10:00

Grin at your haircut bridget! I'm finally getting mine cut on 1st August. Might have to trim the fringe again before then though (I've already done it once).

I've just realised I can't remember our first walk with DS2 in the pram! Blush

DS1's first pram walk was pretty scary because he was born 16 weeks prematurely. He arrived in early October and came home from NICU in February (yes we do have the Playmo tiny-baby-in-incubator!). Talking him for a walk up the road with a billion blankets over his teeny snowsuit is a lovely memory. Well done Pippa and Patrick for taking Mabel Rose for such a nice socially distanced walk. Smile

Horsemad · 09/07/2020 10:33

Eeek, I can't remember my DS2's first pram walk either, @CatkinToadflax. 😲 Poor DS2, he'll have 'second child complex' if I admit to this!

DS2 was 6wks prem & a VERY fast birth; most people who remember his arrival tell me I looked shell shocked for the first few weeks afterwards! 😆

SoMuchToBits · 09/07/2020 20:20

Sorry there will be no new photos for a while. I'm working all day tomorrow then have a busy day Saturday with house and garden before ds and I go away for a few days on Sunday. We will be staying with my sister (with whom we made a bubble, as we gave her a lift from a station to my aunt's funeral a couple of weeks back).

Will keep in touch though, and hopefully more photos later in July. Smile

That's a very fine park! Do they have a toilet there? I am asking for my bladder!!
