Is Playmoland also going back into lock down or is Norman doing a better job than Boris 🤣

Ah, I think there will be a new lockdown due to the new strain of the virus. But in Playmoland, although people have been ill, there have been remarkably few deaths it's very difficult to kill off these plastic people.

Sadly, I've had to cancel my meetup with @petalpower today. Due to the new restrictions we can now only meet for exercise, which would mean a walk in the pouring rain and cold. After another ridiculously busy shift at work yesterday, I'm just too tired to contemplate it.

I have a few days off now, so am hoping to do some scenes either tomorrow or the next day.

Hopefully they will also be seeing results soon from their vaccine programme though. Being a small country like Israel they have probably done a significant percentage of vulnerable Playmos already.

Ah yes, there is that! Hopefully the lockdown won't be for too long...

It's term time again after the Christmas holidays, but only vulnerable children and children of key workers are attending due to the new lockdown. Not many children are in at Eastgate Primary School.

Sanjeev and Willow are the only children in Mr Parker's class today.

Mrs Evans is teaching Mia and Rowan. They are sitting at opposite ends of the table for maximum social distancing.

Mrs Shute is teaching Cara and Finn.

She encourages plenty of hand washing.

Mr Wilson is doing some design and technology with Theo and Olivia.

Mr Gunson is in the sports hall with Isaiah and Lily.

He sanitises all the equipment after use.

Mr Giles is teaching Sophie and Rohin.

Miss Jennings is doing music with Tanaz and Brady.

After the lesson she sanitises the xylophone and mallets. Brady brought in his own recorder to avoid cross infection.

It's lunch time, and Isaac and Isabel sit at opposite ends of the table for lunch.

Ruby and Isla form a socially distanced queue for the snack bar. Their parents have paid in advance online to save handling money.

Meanwhile Riley and Bailey are in a socially distanced queue for the loo!

Mr Brant the caretaker is sanitising the furniture after lessons.

He also makes sure the loos and basins are kept clean.

They're brilliant 😍

Will we see any Playmo parents resorting to blue wine as a result of home schooling 🤣

Playmoland must be short of key workers judging by how few there are in Mr Parker's class. Does Norman the Foreman not have any school age children?

Some of the key workers have another parent who can look after the children, so they don't all need to be in school. And Norman doesn't have any children.
