Hope you have a good week SoMuch and get to enjoy the sun!

TheoriginalLEM · 05/08/2020 07:10

OMG this is the best thread ever!!! You could turn your posts and pictures into a book! Absolutely fantastic

CatkinToadflax · 05/08/2020 10:39

Roy and Louise really are the perfect caravan neighbours! Tut tut Apollo (at least he's infinitely more charming than the Puddingheads!).

SoMuchToBits · 05/08/2020 21:22

Thank you all! Haven't seen much of the sun today, as have been at work all day. Another very busy one.

On the other hand, today I've been to the beach, swum in the sea and generally enjoyed myself! Maybe we should have a Playmo heatwave. At least I have Playmo ice creams...

Sounds lovely! It’s been warm where I am but not sunny.

ElizabethMainwaring · 06/08/2020 18:22

@SoMuchToBits
You really are an absolute diamond xx

elephantoverthehill · 06/08/2020 18:23

I've had a dip in the sea today as well, very refreshing.

SoMuchToBits · 06/08/2020 18:41

It was cloudy all morning, and I took a bit of a punt getting the train to the seaside (only about a 15 min journey), but by the time I got there it was miraculously sunny! Bit of a result really.

Which coast are you on, elephant?

elephantoverthehill · 06/08/2020 18:55

Hi SoMuch I am on a very small island on the south of the country. Before you get to Guernsey or Jersey.

SoMuchToBits · 06/08/2020 20:06

Ah, sounds lovely, elephant! Smile

Today has been HOT at work. it reached 30 degrees at one point. With masks all day and lovely plastic aprons and gloves!

OP posts:
ChessieFL · 09/08/2020 06:25

That can’t be much fun. Was also hot here but at least I could just lie on the bed with the fan on!

SoMuchToBits · 09/08/2020 10:59

It wasn't much fun! Fortunately I have today off, so I can get outside in the fresh air. Smile

Sorry I haven't found time to any more Playmo scenes recently - I've either been sweating to death at work or I've been on the beach!

Bloodybridget · 12/08/2020 18:24

SoMuch it's far too hot to make any unnecessary effort atm, you relax and cool down when you can! And thank you for working in the NHS, as well as for all the enjoyment you give us Playmophiles.

SoMuchToBits · 12/08/2020 19:02

Well, I have been to the beach both yesterday and today, which makes up for the sweltering hell-hole of work on Monday (32 degrees, mask on all day, frequent donning of plastic items). I have tomorrow off too, and hopefully the weather will be slightly less hot by Friday...

Smug post the beach is lovely at the moment isn't it Bits?

SoMuchToBits · 12/08/2020 19:14

Oh yes, I'm really thankful that I live only about 10 miles from the coast! I go whenever I can. And I'm lucky that my local beach doesn't usually get too crowded even on hot days. I expect the residents of Lowbeach-on-Sea are having a lovely time in this weather!

ChessieFL · 13/08/2020 06:50

Wish I lived nearer a beach. I don’t live that far (could be on a beach within about half an hour, 45 minutes or so to a better one) but don’t have time during the week due to work. Just hoping the weather is still nice at the weekend although it’s not looking good.

SoMuchToBits · 13/08/2020 07:35

I suppose that's the good thing about working shifts. They are long, but it means I have more days off...

CatkinToadflax · 13/08/2020 15:25

We're a mile or so from the beach and have a lovely distant sea view from the upstairs windows. There was a huge thunderstorm over the sea last night, and although we couldn't see distinct forks of lightning, our back garden was flashing away like a disco! Very entertaining! Smile

SoMuchToBits · 13/08/2020 18:09

Sounds lovely! I've been to the beach again today. Making the most of it, as am working tomorrow. Smile

Dd ended up sleeping in my bed last night, her room is at the back of the house and there were some emergency road works going on keeping her awake. It was the gadompher keeping her awake!

SoMuchToBits · 15/08/2020 21:02

Grin at the gadoompher! Work was ridiculously busy yesterday (but only 27 degrees). Had today off, working again tomorrow and next day. Not much time to think of Playmo...
