Wine - I’ve tried so many but each one is a disappointment and tastes horrible.

Jacuzzis - too hot and they look unhygienic. Reminds me of something that should be in the Playboy mansion.

Those massive Balenciaga trainers - why pay that much for something that makes your feet look 20 times bigger and clumsy

Lip filler - not against cosmetic surgery but it’s rare to see someone who’s had it where it looks natural or good.

Pimms.Disgusting stuff, and I like most alcohol.

Tennis. Both playing it and watching it. This didn't stop me making my DC have tennis lessons.

@SorryImNotCreative we clearly didn't stay at the same place. We didn't pay for the drivers, they were provided just because we stayed in that particular accommodation. We would get the bar or restaurant we were in to call them to collect us when we wanted to go back. It was like being young and getting a lift home from your mum and dad in many ways 😂

We stayed in a number of different places, of varying luxury, there was one that was absolutely outstanding. It's obviously a very sanitised version of the island, but it was heaven on earth as a holiday (then again, I love spas and Balinese food).

The only animals I saw in Ubud were the wild monkeys in Monkey Forest, so I can't say I recognise the animal cruelty you referred to. That would have bothered me too had I seen it.

quarantined exactly! The price of the private hotel shuttles pushes the price per night up hugely, so you end up ‘paying’ an enormous premium for a taxi service. We avoided anywhere offering a driver service as many of the hotel ‘drivers’ are also members of the taxi mafias, which we didn’t agree with.

Ubud is home to Luwak coffee and a number of elephant ‘sanctuaries’ which we didn’t know before visiting. We also saw a number of staff at Monkey Forest treating the poor monkeys horribly.

Honestly, I’m mad at myself for not doing more research into Bali and believing all the gorgeous Instagram pictures of stunning infinity pools and rice fields. The reality is much, much different
