It wasn’t wind... it was a baby!

So here’s part 2 (which is crazy to me)

There isn’t really an update as such I should hear today or tomorrow regarding a scan. I’ve got the MW again on Thursday and I suppose this week will be the week of grand reveals.

I’m sorry if I disappear for a day at a time I’m still trying to wrap my own head around this.

OP posts:

Good luck with everything OP. What a shock !

Bluebunny123 · 02/06/2020 20:18

Wow good luck op!

MyNameIsJane · 02/06/2020 20:20

Oh wow, I saw your first thread, read a few posts and thought “I’ve had that before, it’ll be wind”

All I can say now is OMG! All the best and congratulations!

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 02/06/2020 20:21

Best of luck Flowers

lemonysnickett88 · 02/06/2020 20:29

Hope you get a scan soon and it all goes well. Will you wait til you've seen baby on the scan to tell people?

Oh wow congratulations! I know someone who didn't know until 5 months and it wasn't until she felt a little kick she got it checked. She had periods and everything. Was a big shock as she never planned to have any. She adores him, he is a teenager now but her one and only.

rach2713 · 02/06/2020 20:36

Firstly would like to say a huge congratulations and secondly what a massive shock but also a blessing. I hope the news has settled in and you are able to feel happy in telling people to get the support you need. I was following your first thread and lost it but was so happy I found it again...

Manth0914 · 02/06/2020 20:36

Hope it all goes well....following on from first thread!

cakemeupbeforeyougogo · 02/06/2020 20:43

Wow! What a story you'll have to pass on to your children! Good luck OP with everything.

carly2803 · 02/06/2020 20:48

congratulations OP!

I know it is a massive shock, but for a country in current madness with corona, this thread is really lovely.
What a nice suprise!

all the best

I've tried desperately not to place mark, but I can't stop myself. I've followed this since before you fix your test, and I just want to say you are doing amazingly well!! ❤️❤️

RandomGirl · 02/06/2020 20:59

As above, I have been thoroughly invested in this! Hope all goes well with your FWB!! 🤞

TheSmelliestHouse · 02/06/2020 21:05

Good luck talking to FWB and your mum and DC

Leopardprintcurtains · 02/06/2020 21:12

What a gorgeous couple of threads. Congratulations OP, what lovely news.

My mum only found out she was expecting my youngest sister at 31 weeks, for some reason she’d decided the lack of periods and kicking sensations were the menopause because she was still in size 8 clothes with no hint of a bump. Soft cow ha.
She always says it was her favourite pregnancy and easiest delivery so hopefully it’ll be the same for you!

Best of luck telling the father and wider family x

NoSauce · 02/06/2020 21:13

Imagine if it’s twins! Shock

Bluewater1 · 02/06/2020 21:17

Congratulations OP and all the very best for the next few days whilst you tell those people who are important to you. Flowers

dochas06 · 02/06/2020 21:19

Congratulations OP!

Buzz22 · 02/06/2020 21:21

You're handling this so well OP.
I'm sorry to hear your scan is delayed. Maybe worth ringing antenal/scan department daily to see if they have cancellations?
I bled in previous pregnancy and didn't show!

Buzz22 · 02/06/2020 21:21

*antenatal!

AppleKatie · 02/06/2020 21:30

Congratulations OP, will you try for a private scan do you think?

Lockdownlover · 02/06/2020 21:42

Congratulations Op! I was huge by 31 weeks and can’t imagine the shock you must be in. Good luck 😉

jbee1979 · 02/06/2020 21:43

Congratulations!! Ask for help. If you were my friend, or neighbour, I'd be pulling out the baby stuff from the loft!! 8/9 weeks isn't long to go, especially with lockdown ❤️

NutterPotter · 02/06/2020 21:47

@Ohshitx my lovely if you need anything please let me know we have quite a few baby bits that my 6month old has outgrown x
