This is horrible! I'm so hot!!! Got horrendous hayfever too. It cools down by Wed, thank God.

Signing in. Not too bad here today as there's a nice breeze but I'd prefer it a few degrees cooler.

Hate it. I cannot stop wheezing today as my hayfever is out of control. My RA is flaring and I have a rash. I am so grumpy.

I knew you were out there! If I had no hayfever, nothing to do and could sit in the shade it would be almost bearable.

I went out yesterday. Stayed in the shade the whole time. Still bright red and burnt over most of my face.
Today I'm in my room moaning when people dont keep the door shut.

I’m here hiding in the coolest room in the house. Children hate the heat especially the one who has autism and any kind of sweating sets her off.

Snap. Too hot, being outside triggers my hayfever. I've caved today and opened the living room window but expect I'll pay for it tonight.

I hate the heat ! Fair skinned and either go red and then peel or I get more freckles. My only hope of ever getting a tan is if i get so many freckles that they join up

I am very stupidly cooking a roast dinner which I dont think anyone actually really wants!

Hay fever is absolutely shocking this year, Id give anything to be able to rinse my eyeballs under the tap

You're daft @Namechange3007 ! I put a stop to any sort of hard going cooking once the heat appears!

I don't have hayfever, and I tan rather than burn.

But I still hate the heat :-(

Signing in for 2020. Horrible rotten weather. I've got two fans going and am also hiding out in the coolest room, which luckily happens to be my bedroom. I feel slightly better this year because at 48 I've finally thought fuck it, and have bought shorts for my massive legs. Who the hell cares if I look like two sides of (pale) beef.

I don't mind sunny days and enjoy them but not when it's hot like this week has been. I'm really pale-skinned and burn so easily and hayfever eyebags have aged me about a zillion years!
I'm afraid of thunderstorms but I actually really want a loud, long one.

As a heat-hater, what infuriates me most is hearing the weather person on the news predicting 30 degrees as if it is something that is universally desired.

OMG! My people. Yes to it being bearable if you don't have hayfever and can just sit indoors with a fan. Sadly, that isn't an option for most of us. Let's hope the predicted cool down actually happens...

CV took everyones attention. I love the heat but this thread just reminded me that in a normal year we'd have had loads of 'I hate this' threads already 😂

I'm not enjoying it today. I might even be glad when it rains.

We are in a new build now too so it’s hot indoors now

Whereas we lived before, it was cooler indoors

Not here. Above 40 is hot. This is vaguely warm.

That said, I'm sat her in a bikini trying to make the best of it.

Here we go. First decent weather of the year and people are begging for cold,crisp autumn days and rosy cheeked children tobogganing. Thank fuck for the sunshine during lockdown as it may just have made it a bit more bearable for people stuck in small houses and flats who could at least sit in the garden or go for walks.
