“If you had to choose between coming home from work to an immaculate house, dinner cooked for you, washed and ironed clothes and a lovely pair of smiley happy kids but NO sex ever again OR you can come home to a messy house, DIY dinner, a pile of dirty clothes and you have to sort the kids out but you get the ride of your life every single night for the rest of your life, which one would you choose?

We’d both choose the latter. No doubt about it. Tidy house is great but no sex?! Nah. Not for us thanks.

My twat of a DH used to dream of the 2nd but even when he got it, he still did the 'disappointed face' if I didnt do the 1st. Eventually that face made me never want to do either. Be careful what you wish for..

Number 2 without a doubt, he didn't even think about it for a second. I'm glad he picked that one

Honestly when my girlfriend was pregnant with no.3 she really couldn't do anything but the hormone lottery landed on "horny all the time" so I pretty much lived No. 2 anyway.

Here's my thoughts though - the first would be like living with your mom and the second your partner.

*although, I might add, I do cook every night etc. etc. but my house is a bit of a tip at the moment tbf!

I asked my DH. I thought No 1. He said No1 because he doesn't think he'd have the energy to have the ride of his life every single night!!!

He’d order a takeaway, doesn’t “see” mess and when I start tidying he says “don’t worry about it. Leave it and we’ll do it tomorrow”

He also doesn’t see a problem with rewearing his t shirt even if it has gravy down the front .

In reality if it was a serious choice - he’d probably chuck some money at it and get a cleaner to do all the housework to make sure I had the time and energy for the other stuff.

Yes this! For me the one thing that differentiates a primary relationship from any other is the sex. Pretty much everything else you can get from friends, family, JustEat etc

I'd take either, but if only one were available, the latter.

DH says it's a stupid question and what he wants doesn't exist in a vacuum.

I knew he would but he said 2 and wonders why anyone would choose 1. He's not the tidest of chaps. I would love an immaculate house but would choose amazing sex over it!
