Oh, and petalpower and I both really still want to know what @Dk20 bought for her ds!

SoMuch I hope the funeral is a good one, I know you were very sad at your aunt's death.

SoMuchToBits · 22/06/2020 22:48

bridget it should be good in as much as it can be. It will be a very few close relatives, lovely to see them, and nice weather. My aunt was 95 and in poor health, so although sad, wasn't a great shock. I'm pleased we are able to go.

Will be thinking of you today SoMuch.

SoMuchToBits · 23/06/2020 22:49

It was a good day, and the parcel has arrived. Too tired to open it tonight though!

SoMuchToBits · 23/06/2020 23:23

Oh, and just received notification that the out of stock item is now available! Hooray! Smile

OP posts:
petalpower · 24/06/2020 08:18

Ooh that’s exciting about the out of stock item. Sounds like it will be a good one for future scenes!
Glad it went as well as it could at the funeral.

SoMuchToBits · 24/06/2020 11:23

Thank you. It was great to see my sisters, BIL and cousins, and the weather was lovely so we were able to socialise in the garden. Smile

I have unpacked the parcel, and ordered the previously out of stock item. Haven't done much else today as I'm working tonight.

Glad you could see your family! Unreasonably excited about your mystery parcel...

SoMuchToBits · 25/06/2020 08:24

Oh good, it looks as if the previously out of stock item might arrive tomorrow! Unless the date gets changed of course...

I've been working all night, so am now going to enjoy a Brew in the garden, then may think about a little trip to the beach.

Hope you didn't go to Bournemouth beach today 😱

Looking forward to some new scenes next week 🤗

SoMuchToBits · 25/06/2020 22:40

Was hoping to go to Felixstowe, but was too tired to walk to the railway station, so crashed in the garden instead! Had BBQ with ds this evening.

Have hardly slept today, so will be going to bed soon!

elephantoverthehill · 25/06/2020 23:32

Sleep well Bits.

CatkinToadflax · 26/06/2020 10:38

I assume it's the Puddingheads causing all the crowding on the beaches. Hmm

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2020 11:30

You're probably right, Catkin. I'm afraid I got up late today, as had such a sleep backlog. I really will go to the beach today (so long as it isn't too crowded) and am working all day Saturday and Sunday. So I'm hoping to get some Playmo sorted on either Monday or Tuesday next week...

Nice to see an empty beach @SoMuchToBits! 👍

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2020 19:21

It wasn't totally empty, but I was always more than 2m from anyone else!

OP posts:
petalpower · 26/06/2020 19:57

Looks like a lovely day!

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2020 21:00

It was lovely (once I managed to get up!). Looks like my item won't now be arriving until Monday though. Although as I'm working all day Saturday and Sunday, I wouldn't have been able to do much with it until then anyway!

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2020 21:03

I hope you all like the flask of tea (Norman would be proud) and the sandy feet...

jumbodumbo · 26/06/2020 21:10

Ooh somuch those beach pictures look lovely!

SoMuchToBits · 26/06/2020 21:16

It's our local beach (Felixstowe), so nowhere posh. But I love it! Fortunately the fact it's not ridiculously popular means it's not overcrowded either, even in hot weather in a pandemic. And I can get there on a (not crowded) train in about 15 mins. Station is 20 mins walk from my house (but ds gave me a lift there today on his way out to go sailing).
