We've had quite the Playmo day here. We've been taking advantage of the dry weather and sorting the garage. We found a whole box of DH's old stuff that we'd completely forgotten was in there, including the big Playmo pirate ship! DS2 has spent the afternoon sailing across the grass and blasting DS1's Playmo castle to bits. The castle knights have been putting up quite a fight though Grin

SoMuchToBits · 14/06/2020 18:01

That sounds lovely Captain ! I have done very little except sit in the garden, read a bit and potter about doing one or two odd jobs. Ds is out seeing friends, but when he gets back we are having a takeaway from the local Turkish restaurant. Smile

I've just been reading a thread in the Property & DIY section and there was a minor discussion about the need (or not) for builders to bring their own portaloo when they do a job. I immediately thought of Norman and how well prepared he is! Grin

ChessieFL · 15/06/2020 19:26

So this arrived today....Grin

Grin at the thoughts of Norman and at Chessie's parcel!

@ChessieFL I ordered the figures when the link was posted on here but they haven't arrived yet, hopefully won't be much longer 🤞🏻

ChessieFL · 16/06/2020 09:57

My separate set of figures should be arriving today!

SoMuchToBits · 16/06/2020 10:11

Yay! Smile

I'm going to the beach today.

I lost you all! Sorry for place mark but can't risk losing you all again and my watch threads is full Confused. That's for the excellent thread.

SoMuchToBits · 16/06/2020 18:31

Glad you found us, @SunshineCake sorry there are no new photos at the moment, but I'm taking a bit of a break. Did have a very nice afternoon on the beach today though, and a dip in the sea! Smile

Was supposed to be thanks for an excellent thread.

Take as long as you like. I'm sure you need a break. I'm wondering if I have seen the royal wedding and Olympic threads so will look for those.

Take care.

SoMuchToBits · 16/06/2020 19:29

The royal wedding threads there were 3. The first one in 2011 (but this was before you could add photos, so the photos were on my profile, but now seem to have disappeared.

The other 2 were in 2018. Not sure whether they are still in Chat or Classics (some got moved) but if you search for "Playmobil in our house" on advanced search you will find most of my Playmo threads I think.

The 2012 PlaymOlympics you won't find though, as this wasn't a thread, but MN asked me to do some photos and I think had some kind of page they were on at the time. But I think I did a 2014 Winter Olympics on a thread.

Have also done a couple of advent calendars, last year's summer holidays and a couple of short items (harvest festival/Valentine's day). Oh, and some elections, although I think the Plexit referendum got lost as it was in Chat when that was only 90 days. Hope you find them! Smile

Ok, here's a scene from the Plexit referendum 2016.

Very brave having a dip in the sea Bits, I think I'll wait until August. I hope you had a lovely day out.

SoMuchToBits · 16/06/2020 21:09

It wasn't too bad actually elephant. A bit chilly getting in, but then got used to it and it was quite refreshing! Did have a nice flask of tea for when I got out though (in true Norman style!). Smile

So strange to see Playmolanders not socially distanced! 2016 is lifetimes ago.

SoMuchToBits · 17/06/2020 09:12

Yes, looking at all my scenes from last year (summer holidays/advent calendar) the people look so close together!

SoMuchToBits · 17/06/2020 23:23

I haven't done much at all today apart from a lovely Zoom meeting with my friends from the band I usually play in on a Wednesday morning. It was so lovely to see them (virtually) again!

Made it actually seem like a Wednesday! Smile

I haven't done much at all today either, apart from an enormous pile of ironing and some essential food shopping. But I have just arranged to see petalpower on Monday for a socially distanced cuppa! Smile Brew

orangejuice1 · 18/06/2020 21:08

Sounds lovely! Sometimes the best days are days where you don't do much at all.
I hope you enjoy your meeting with petalpower Smile

SoMuchToBits · 18/06/2020 21:22

I won't do too much tomorrow either, as I'm working tomorrow night! Grin
