Coke float

Did anyone else have these as a kid (in the 80s)? They were lush.

For some reason was just thinking about it. DS2 looked at me like I was batshit when I tried to explain it. I've got coke here but no vanilla ice cream.

Grandma use to make them for us at her house, a couple of scoops of ice cream topped up with full sugar cola! Those were the days, OP thanks for being that memory back today 😃

I still make them now for dd.

We used to call them spiders. My grandma used to make them for us with bright green American cream soda that came in glass bottles from the 'pop man' and top it with raspberry ripple icecream - it must have been unbearably sweet but I recall really enjoying them.

We used to have lemonade and ice cream when I was little.
