The Book People - orders following closure?

Just wondered if anyone else ordered in their closing down sale and has received their order? I hear that people's orders are all being completed, but with very long delivery dates due to fewer staff packing during lockdown as well as being in administration/closed. The guide is 7 weeks (which I knew when I ordered), and I'm just trying to guage how accurate this is

I ordered on the 21st March.

And it arrived this morning. Everything there.

Just got an email to say my parcel is arriving today!

Giant box with 1 item in that Hermes delivered to an address 2 streets away 😫. Thankfully the kind man at that address brought it round to me. Not sure where my other 23 items are!

Mine finally came last weekend, ordered on 20th March Only a few items out of stock (out of 40odd!)

I ordered 4th March and all arrived within that week, so sad they've closed down, got so many lovely books for my kids over the years and wanted to treat my DNs too now they're preschoolers...

I've just had an email saying my package has shipped today except for one thing which has been refunded!

Found an email in my junk folder saying Book People have dispatched the remainder of my order (23 items) on 11 June but nothing has arrived and the Hermes tracking says parcel hasn’t been received. Aaahgghhh!

Got mine last week after ordering in March. Sad to see them go, used them a lot particularly when children were small and got through loads of books.

Mine arrived! Delivered by Hermes. Forgotten what tat I’d allowed dd to order! Anyone fancy a sequin cactus doorstop?
