DS is 11y 8m, and lived me ranting about the Fleetwood Mac v Coes thread earlier. He’s getting very into music, but would like opinions on what other “Classic” albums he should be listening to. He’s got an Echo Dot in his room and access to my Amazon Music account, so hit us with your suggestions - he already loves Guy Garvey/Elbow and Queen - not too sweary or sexy please, he’s only 11 and pretty naive country mouse at that.

So far we have:
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
The Beatles - The White Album
Queen - Best of, Night at the Opera

He can have Green Day -American Idiot when he’s older!

If you’re starting him on Fleetwood Mac you should give him a listen to Peter Green’s original version. ‘The best of.....’ may not be a classic album as such but it has all the classic Green songs.

Sticky Fingers - Rolling Stones. Might have to keep that for when he's older though.

Urban Hyms - the Verve and as an aside History (the song) also by the Verve because it's brilliant.
