I’ve been rewatching New Girl. Jess and Cece stage a cute distraction involving hats whilst Nick and Schmidt snuggle me out of the air vents, just as Winston and his cop buddies arrive. I recover by cuddling Furguson and playing True American in the loft.

Mia and Morphul (no idea how to spell it!) ridiculously shite kids show that my 3yo loves. Everything always works out for them though so I’m hopeful of a successful rescue!

I’ll probably be ok. I’ve got Newt, Gally, Thomas, Minho, Teresa, Frypan, Sonya and Brenda coming for me. Also, on the plus side, they definitely know about infectious disease pandemics. On the other hand, not sure that now was the best time to rewatch The Maze Runner

Phew, the teams from Race Across the World are on their way - they've spent 2 months learning to survive with no phones, no money and just a trusty backpack. Think I'll be OK.

If he is on the phone to the kidnappers, we won't hear what they have to say - and then they'll refuse to speak to him again.
