Ooh - how did I not know about this (hair related)?

Middle aged woman here with naturally dark hair, now highlighted blonde for the last few years.

Failed to get highlights done before lockdown so started lockdown looking pretty grim - and then got grimmer with dark greasy looking roots streaked with grey.

Thank you op. Very timely post. Will order some now.

Reviews of this type of product on Amazon suggest to order a shade lighter than you think you need (as another poster has noted)

Is it the thickening one? Not sure I could cope with that.

I got some and have used it only once. My scalp looked nicotine stained.

OP you are becoming a «media influencer» 😊

Ooh, thanks for this. I don't need my roots doing as I dyed it a couple of weeks ago, I've always been a home dyer so no problems with that, but, I do have very fine hair which seems to be getting finer (well thinner, but I'm trying to pretend that's not what's happening!) and this could be right up my street. It would be nice to have hair that looked thicker.

Home Bargains has some in there for a quid. I have 3 cans to get me through this lockdown!

I haven't seen my hairdresser since late February (she comes to my home). My hair is long with a fringe, and the fringe is now a side fringe and my hair is again showing its natural wave. Obviously the roots have outgrown their colour (blondish tint), but at the moment they're blending in with the tint (they're more silver than dark grey).

WitchQueenofDarkness mentions '...Colour Wow. It's a powder you brush on.' My hair's doing alright, but for a long time I've used a powder makeup on my fine, extremely fair, eyebrows. It's Christian Faye eyebrow powder. It's much more long-lasting than other eyebrow powders I've used. If I was desperate I'd get it in blond online and use it on my roots.

I don’t much like it. Parting: ok. But I also need to do sides and back if I want to tie my hair up. And i always get splodges on my face.

Ooh - it doesn’t brush out Shock
