Is there anyone else on here that likes to smoke weed?

On all the threads I've seen that have mention cannabis it usually made out like the worse thing ever.

I'm a bit of a stoner tbh and just wondered if there is any others out there? I always see threads with people sharing what they drinking so thought I'd give it a go!

Not sure how this will go on here soo 🤞

Fun fact - Did you know the UK is the biggest grower of medical marijuana in the WORLD!!! And former PM Theresa May's husbands company is the largest producer of medical marijuana in Europe?

Though medical marijuana can keep the Mays in a very comfortable lifestyle, we can't access any of it in UK because the "law says so" and so it is all exported to lucky citizens of other countries who are more trusted and less controlled by their governments.

Also I may be grumpy as I have had no weed now for 2 months.

UK growers are some of the best in the world. Not something you can necessarily put on your cv, admittedly.

@Ylfa we are growing a couple outdoors this year 😁 got a poly tunnel at an allotment and only going to put 2 plants and then rest tomatoes..

A bit concerned about the smell but it's out the way and only neighbour is a builders yard where I've smelt it being smoked..

If I had my own secluded garden I'd definetly pop a plant amongst the flower borders! Would love to grow hemp too for the seeds and to dry for tea but I think it would possible just attract attention if noticed.

It would be a way to grow employment and generate taxes if legalised. Probably a good time to do it if we are going into this predicted recession after all this... But sadly I just don't see our governments soing it any time soon!

My friend has a large pyramid one, think it's called the volcano, I had a go on one when I was last in Amsterdam - I believe they retail at around £350 so bit out of my price range!

Also you want a nice portable one you can take to the park (after lockdown 🙄)

Also, my dealer is female - bud comes directly from Amsterdam where it's grown so minimal street gang involvement, would prefer to grow my own ideally though.

Here In Canada when you go to purchase pot at the store the various strains being sold all have descriptors of their likely effects and THC levels. I personally have never shopped at such a store but friends who DO buy it legally have described the set-up to me. So if you want some pot to mellow you out you can get exactly that, if you want something to zing you up and make you clean your house like a cleaning demon you can purchase the appropriate product to achieve that result.It seems eminently sensible to me.

I'm a daily smoker. Pretty much since later teens. I no longer drink but that's much more recent.

Having to survive on local supply at the moment, which is ok, but not fabulous. Normally I have a supply from a grower I know with a wonderful array of breeds and something to suit every mood. Spoilt.

I'm also a perfectly normal member of society (albeit not a parent) and have a good Management job.

It's the same in Amsterdam mrsweebles, and in the US states where it's legal.

Such a shame our govt are so fucking backwards about it.

Quite a few home growers - once they have the kit - also grow tomatoes and chillis. Why wouldn't you ? The same logic as growing your won cannabis. You know exactly what's gone into it. You can grow what you like. And you can avoid criminals, if you believe that selling tasteless watery balls of red as "tomatoes" is a criminal offence.

It is a shame if it causes problems for the police, but you can't really polish a turd of stupid laws.

DNA analysis traces it's origin back to the Himalayas. One suggestion about the resinous THC is that it is an adaptation to protect the flowers from the increased UV light at altitude.

Whatever it's origins, it's certainly a contender - if not outright winner - for "plant humans have managed to spread the furthest". Both wittingly and unwittingly.

Regardless of pharmacology, it's a fascinating plant. Unusually dioecious (like nettles). And it's the female plant that does all the work ....

We live halfway up a hill in the middle of the countryside - definitely not going to bother anyone. Loads of people grow it round here - we just can't get to them because of lockdown

I've found my people! Trying to stop having tobacco with my weed - quit the fags a couple of years ago (still vaping though), and not found a decent alternative yet. But my Arizer arrived yesterday - just waiting for the DC to go to their dad's this weekend, and I shall definitely be trying it out! Also very envious of those with greenhouses and no close neighbours, although there's nearly always a strong smell of weed outside a house five doors away from me. Maybe I should just risk it and hope nobody notices it's coming from two houses
