Better coffee... cafetière or pod?

Definitely not doing beans. This is the choice cafetière or pod.

In your opinion.... which makes best coffee?

TIA!

Cafetiere. Pods produce too much waste.

Ha now that’s a possible parallel universe - I live down the road from a coffee roaster and grinder, the coffee is amazing.

@poppym12 I've never used a stove top pot. But if you imagine a bolder version of a filter coffee, or a much 'cleaner' (because all the muddy stuff is filtered out) version of a cafetiere, you'd be close.

I've heard it described as between filter coffee and espresso (presumably if you use less water than I do)

Don’t forget to chuck your coffee grounds on acid loving plants if you have a garden

@potter
What plants please? (Novice here)
Would the lawn be ok?

I used to put on my roses but here’s a list:

You’d need a proper garden expert to advise on grass!

I love my nespresso machine and use lost sheep pods which are compostable so I can chuck in the food waste caddy. Also you can just hold down the lungo button to set how much water you want in your coffee.

Thank you @saraclara.

Anything but pods.
