Just curious, really.

I’ve had:-

Measles
Chicken pox
Hepatitis A
Pneumonia
Glandular fever

I’ve been vaccinated against:

Whatever childhood things they gave in the 60’s (diphtheria and whooping cough, I think)
Polio
Tetanus
Smallpox
Rubella
Typhoid (lasts 3 years, expired)
Yellow fever (lasts 10 years, expired)
Hepatitis B
Pneumonia (lasts 10 years, expired)
Flu (annual for last 20 years)

Oh - I was also in the cohort who had the Daisy prick before having a BCG, but my Daisy prick was positive, so I didn’t need the BCG. That means I had been exposed to TB but not developed disease.

Hand foot and mouth

Vax
Baby ones so I assume diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough
BCG
Rubella

Oldraver · 06/04/2020 20:47

I can't remember all I've been vaccinated against, I asumen the usual stuff a child born in the 60's would have

I remember BCG and Rubella as a teen, GP wouldn't vaccinate until I had a blood test.
Polio and Tetanus in my 20's

I've had measles, chickenpox and scarlet fever

pastaparadise · 06/04/2020 20:51

Had measles, chicken pox, and whooping cough (some news about possible side effects of the vacc when i was small and i ended up catching it - it really was horrible).

Vacc against all the usual, and.very grateful for it.

happypotamus · 06/04/2020 20:55

Had chicken pox, german measles and mumps I think as a child

Vaccinated against diptheria, tetanus, polio, whatever else babies were vaccinated against in the early 80s, rubella aged about 12, measles in secondary school, TB in secondary school, MMR in my early 20s (I lived in a student area so the GP offered it), hepatitis B I think it was at uni for my nursing degree, whooping cough in pregnancy, flu annually at work, not travelled anywhere exotic enough to need other vaccinations,

Fatted · 06/04/2020 21:00

Usual vaccines for the 80's. I didn't have rubella or BCG in high school because my mum decided to through an anti Vax stage then. Since gone onto have MMR as an adult.

Only particular nasty illness I've had is chicken pox, that I didn't get until my teens. I did get bad bouts of tonsillitis in my late teens and early 20s and then I had it again a few years ago.

nedtherobbot · 06/04/2020 21:04

Vaccinated for everything going for a child of the 90s. Flu jab most years since teen, plus extra whooping cough for two pregnacies.

Had chicken pox and mumps, despite the mmr.

TimeAintNothing · 06/04/2020 21:04

As a child I was vaccinated against:

TB (done as a baby, there was an outbreak where we lived)
Diphtheria
Tetanus
Whooping cough
Measles
Mumps
Polio

I had the MMR when I was 11 instead of the single Rubella vaccine. I've had it several times since as I have no immunity to the Rubella part, for some reason my system kills it without developing antibodies.

Various holiday jabs.

Flu jab every year.

Infectious disease I have caught:

  • flu

I've never had chickenpox, scarlet fever, etc.

Troels · 06/04/2020 21:05

My vaccines are DPT, MMR, BCG, Flu, Pneumonia, Shingles.

I've had
Mumps, and shingles.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 06/04/2020 21:10

I was vaccinated for MMR, diphtheria and polio. Then had tetanus vaccine and the BCG at high school.

As a child I had scarlet fever, german measles and chicken pox.

My friend had measles and it damaged his eyesight.

Howgreenwasmyvalley · 06/04/2020 21:11

I've had
Whooping cough
Measles
Rubella
Mumps
ScarletFever
Chickenpox
Shingles

Vaccinations
Smallpox
TB
Diphtheria
Polio

BeyondMymymymyCorona · 06/04/2020 21:12

All the usual vaccs, then I've had chicken pox twice, measles and mumps (despite mmr). And a possible case of shingles.

Then (and I know it's not actually linked really), despite my mmr apparently not being sufficient to protect against measles and mumps - I'm also autistic Grin

Frlrlrubert · 06/04/2020 21:13

Vaccinations:

Measles
Mumps
Rubella
Tetanus
Diphtheria
Polio
TB (though it leaked and didn't scar, so may not have been effective?)
Meningitis (C I think, whatever the first one was)
Whooping cough (when pregnant)
Flu for a few years when my asthma was bad enough.

I've had:
Chickenpox
Flu (not in a year I'd been vaccinated)
Viral Pneumonia
HPV
Norovirus (but I don't think there's a vaccine for that?)

AstiPooMante · 06/04/2020 21:13

Wasn’t vaccinated in the 70s when apparently there was some scare about the whooping cough vaccine.

I got whooping cough when I was about 8 and was very very poorly. And again when I was 40 and was poorly again.

BeyondMymymymyCorona · 06/04/2020 21:14

Oh I've had chlamydia too Blush

1990shopefulftm · 06/04/2020 21:16

I had swine flu and whopping cough ( I got it before I was old enough for the vaccine and I was born in the 90s so pregnant women didn't get a vaccine then).

I ve had MMR, HPV, diphtheria, tetanus, polio vaccines and then the flu vaccine for the past couple of years. I m just a year too young to have gotten the BCG jab in school.

1990shopefulftm · 06/04/2020 21:16

Oh and I ve had chicken pox

HoobleDooble · 06/04/2020 21:17

TwoZeroTwoZero · 06/04/2020 21:17

I had measles and chicken pox. I've had all the vaccines you're meant to have had as far as I know, incl the one for meningitis when I was about 20.

Grasspigeons · 06/04/2020 21:19

Lou0390 · 06/04/2020 21:21

astropoodle · 06/04/2020 21:23

I've had pneumonia, scarlet fever, measles, mumps and chickenpox (though my parents say I didn't but I was immune when tested). I'm was vaccinated against whatever they did in the 1960s. Not tetanus, it's run out ages ago and they no longer give boosters as I found out when I tried to book one for my DCs.
