At the minute I am definitely identifying with Miss Hannigan Grin

PersonaNonGarter · 06/04/2020 19:04

I stomped around to ‘At the End of the Day’ earlier.

Tomorrow will be a bit more ... Oklahoma, corny as Kansas in August.

StatementKnickers · 06/04/2020 19:10

'Good Morning Baltimore' is a good song for feeling optimistic in springtime even when things are a bit shit

Toilenstripes · 06/04/2020 19:13

Jesus Christ Superstar! Who in the hell do you think you are!?

I grew up on musicals and love them.

Today feels like "He Had It Coming" for me

I've just finished watching the Lauren Drew online concert on Theatre Cafe UK. It was phenomenal. If you want to support theatre artists in this tie, check out their line up

Welcome to the fog
Welcome to the trees
To the ocean and the sky
And whatever's in between
To the one's who've left
You're never truly gone
A candle's in the window and the kettle's always on

Where the sun is comin' up
And the world has come ashore
If you're hoping for a harbour then you'll find an open door
In the winter from the water
To whatever's in the way
To the ones who have come from away
Welcome to the rock

Watched best of the Oliviers last night. Feeling sad all our theatre trips have been curtailed for the foreseeable. Next viable one is probably Something Rotten in October.

I discovered the Magic at the Musicals radio station a couple of weeks back.... it was a joy on a long cross country journey (for me, not sure if anyone unlucky enough to hear me belting out "take that look off your face" would have felt the same...

Comefromaway · 06/04/2020 19:25

Was supposed to be The Last Five years last weekend. And Back to the Future. Also the amdram show Ds was in has been cancelled.

mbosnz · 06/04/2020 19:30

I played 'Nobody's on Nobody's Side' from Chess, the other day. The rest of the family decamped. Fruit bowls are notoriously likely to fly if that song is being played. Loudly.

I've been listening to the soundtrack of Hamilton all day, inspired by the cast on SGN with John Krasinski. Some day I will get to see it 🤞

Mrsmadevans · 06/04/2020 20:00

Hello Dolly is in the West End next year with Imelda Staunton in it, l am so tempted to go Grin
