Breadmaker

It looks like I am very late to the party but has anyone bought a breadmaker in the last few days/week?

I've checked currys, Lakeland, Amazon, ebay, AO, Argos but all sold out!

I'm not sure there will be any bread flour in the shop either...but if anyone had luck finding a machine please can you tell me where from?

Thanks!

Our Tesco has no bread flour! I don't know about yeast though.

Does anyone know how long dried yeast is good for? I've got a few sachets in the cupboard from 2018. Safe to use or not?

My Panasonic breadmaker is at Least 15 years old. More I think as my parents have it to me as they didn't like it. The only times I've had crumbly or rock hard bread out of it is when I've made a mistake. It never lasts long enough to go mouldy.

It's certainly earned its counter top space over the last few weeks!!

I know it's not the same as making it by hand but I love that it takes less than 5 minutes of my time to make bread.

For ppl saying they can't knead due to various reasons - there is no knead bread!

Test it by dissolving one sachet in warm water with sugar, and see if it bubbles.

Which panosonic would people recommend?
