What would you tell me?

I had a conference call today, there was one person from each department of the large company I work for. To break the ice the senior manager asked everyone to introduce themself and give one interesting fact about themself. I despise things like that, I'm quite shy and just completely froze when it got to me and ended up introducing myself followed by 'I'm insanely shy and find things like this painful' luckily the host laughed!

So what would you say?

OK, I've really been thinking about this and the best I have other than telling them I hate this rubbish is that I got married, bought my first house, had my son and found out my husband had a 7 year old son all within 6 months? Reckon that's as interesting as I get? I lived abroad for a year as a child but that's pretty common in my department.

When I was 15 a well known photographer stopped me in a multi story car park and asked if he could take some photos of me.

I was friends with the prime ministers daughter at uni and he came to visit, went on the America cups supporters boat for the final race, stayed for a month in my countries embassy in the states, worked in companies that took me to 5 star accommodation for team building - all exciting times and completely through being at the right place at the right time. My life is pretty ordinary now and no I am not rich!

I can't think of anything interesting. Erm, I can read faster than anyone I know. Probably not as fast as a trained speed reader but I have a natural ability for reading quickly. I've worked out that other people seem to read/process through a word at a time, but I can look at a like a paragraph and read and take it in all in one go.
