The cafe is still open...

...because I didn't close it over the weekend.

Today's special is eggs.

Boiled, fried, poached, coddled, convent, I might even do scotch eggs.

Tea and coffee as always and toast of course.

Morning all.

I had a thought, one thing I don't think I have had as a special is kippers, so kippers are on the menu.

Florence is making brioche and croissants for those who don't want smelly fish first thing.

Morning @sashh I'm have to decline the kippers I'm afraid they don't like me ,so this morning I'll have a decaf tea and a pain au chocolate please from Florence , I saw about the virtual cafe but its menu is a bit fancy for me plus I like how easy going it is in here with cats, dogs and babies , @whatever45 I may have a few in my pocket I keep them in there as a bribe for the beast that I am slave to .

Hello

Can I have a large tea and almond croissant please? And if I can sit over by the cats it would be nice- baby is now trying to stroke our cats, sometimes gets it right others they get a knock.... been awake since 5, so a good night here. And only 5 feeds in the night 😀

@sashh happy to pass the sleeping baby to you for a cuddle and I can enjoy my tea.

Hand over the baby, no problem, I'll go for a walk round the garden, I've had a 'sensory' garden put in one corner, lots of nice textures and smells and obvious no poionous plants.

I checked out the other place, I promise never to serve 'Breaky'.

@whatever45 there is a cat friendly part o the garden, a self cleaning litter tray, several levels to sleep on and of course a large catmint bush.

Morning! I've been off MN for the weekend as it was overwhelming, but I'm back because I heard a rumour of a new pastry chef and fancy pancy new garden!

I'd love a pain au chocolate if Florence is still floating around and a cup of green tea. I can take the baby for a stroll for a bit, also will take puppies/kittens?

I love kippers, so I followed the smell back here this morning. Delicious!
I'm so glad that my cat has somewhere to go to the loo now thank you! She was crossing her legs yesterday, not realising she had her own facilities.

Thank you for lovely Nasi Goreng plus Japanese breakfast (with home style freshly pickled vegetables) the next day.

I was thinking along the lines of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon served with muffin (not a euphemism).

Can you stretch to Dosa with coconut chutney and Sambar next weekend?

I was thinking about making some traditional African food for breakfast, then I realised I have no idea what is traditional and it's an entire continent so possibly has hundreds of traditional foods.

I'll sitint he crner and google while Florence gets on with the pastries.
