Went to get some shopping, DS1 (10) asked for his wallet which has his pocket money in and disappeared to the checkout. When I caught up with him he presented me with these beauties and said they were 'for being the best mummy ever'.

Oh god how sweet. Please slip his pocket money back in to his wallet, or give him it as a bonus for some spurious reason.

tempnamechange98765 · 08/03/2020 16:54

MagnoliaJustice · 08/03/2020 17:03

Aw how sweet. My son, when he was 3, picked me a bunch of daffodils and got a bollocking from the woman whose garden they were growing in. Bless him. He never did it again - pick someone else's flowers, I mean, he has occasionally bought me flowers usually when he wants something

ragged · 08/03/2020 17:07

You raised a good 'un.

DramaAlpaca · 08/03/2020 17:08
