Did you sing that in your head? Grin

I made a hollandaise sauce for the first time. It was perfect and delicious!

Oh that’s on my to do list! I have completed another step in publishing my book, which will be out in June. Which has meant about ten hours of just transferring quotes from twenty interview transcripts into the book manuscript. Tedious as heck, but really important!

YicketyYackMamasBack · 05/02/2020 19:39

I woke up, held 5 week old DD I front of me and said “good morning cheeky baba” and then she gave me her first smile 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

turnandfacethenamechange · 05/02/2020 19:40

I bought Beck's Blue instead of the red wine I wanted. Sounds pathetic but it's not always easy!

Hersetta427 · 05/02/2020 19:40

Driving my 50 mile journey to work for the first time since November 29th following a car crash on the way home that day that left me with 8 broken ribs, a collapsed lung and internal bleeding from my spleen. Managed the whole day and wasted too skittish driving home!

Hersetta427 · 05/02/2020 19:41

Wasn't too skittish that should be !

slipperywhensparticus · 05/02/2020 19:44

TokyoSushi · 05/02/2020 19:47

I delivered a training course that I have been stressing about since Christmas. It's over and the feedback was excellent - yay me!

OnlyTheTitOfTheLangBerg · 05/02/2020 19:48

Put up a load of posters and leaflets about Time To Talk Day (which is tomorrow) at work, and then came home and baked a cake to take into the office for the “take the time to have a cuppa and a chat” official tea break that I persuaded our director to let us have tomorrow.

Sulusu · 05/02/2020 19:50

Knitted again for the first time in many years. My brain had forgotten how but my hands seemed to remember Smile

PawPawNoodle · 05/02/2020 19:53

Well, Heather Small, I have done all of my "house" to do list so I'm pretty happy about that.

bellinisurge · 05/02/2020 19:53

I took a punt on something at work-law related- and it paid off and I did good for someone. Sorry for being necessarily vague.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 05/02/2020 19:55

Went for a run at lunchtime. Just finished week 4 of couch to 5k and surprised by how far I've already come!

Bluewavescrashing · 05/02/2020 19:58

Well done everyone. These are all lovely accomplishments 🙂

Started to paint the kitchen cupboards, it’s a job I have been meaning to do since I last painted them a colour I never liked. Then I scrubbed the insides of the cupboards s while I waited for them to dry to see if I like the colour.
I do like the colour (Urban Obsession) so now I have a lot more work to do Star

ritzbiscuits · 05/02/2020 20:01

Attended a very male heavy digital technology conference. Just a handful of women including me, I feel proud we were there to show we can do this too!

squeakyheart · 05/02/2020 20:12

Finished putting new skirting boards in a room with uneven walls and warped wood with a lot of bloody swearing and tears!

LickYouLikeACrispPacket · 05/02/2020 20:14

I had a bath and emptied and refilled the dishwasher and hoovered.
I am proud of it as I have severe tonsillitis and that was a huge effort!

Breathmiller · 05/02/2020 20:29

These are great to read. Well done everyone.

Mine might not seem like an achievement but it is massive for me.

I have taken the rest of this week off! I have some virus that is flooring me and I have a tendency to just keep forging on and never give in. I own my own business and NEVER take time off.

I've had a lot of extra work lately and an ill parent as well as and it has been overwhelming and exhausting.

But, you know what? I'm ill, I'm exhausted and it was the right thing to do.

LickYouLikeACrispPacket · 05/02/2020 20:44

That is an achievement @breathmiller
Sometimes we have to put ourselves first.

namechangingtime · 05/02/2020 20:48

I handed in my notice!! (Yesterday it would have been I got a new job!) I've been wanting to leave for a while but never really had the actual motivation to find another job and anxiety played a big part too. Almost didn't hand in my notice today due to the anxiety but I forced myself to 😊

Shazzanat · 05/02/2020 20:50

Made it through another day of parenting my severely disabled child and her siblings.

BethanyGilbert · 05/02/2020 20:51

I took my year group on a very successful school trip which was a logical nightmare.

BethanyGilbert · 05/02/2020 20:51

Logistical !!!!

managedmis · 05/02/2020 20:52

Looked around the shops without buying anything

Breathmiller · 05/02/2020 20:53

Thank you @LickYouLikeACrispPacket
Yes, you're right. It is an achievement!!

@namechangingtime
That's brilliant. Go you!!
