It's finally Friday! Happy to report I've spent the day in bed drinking coffee and watching YouTube videos.Grin (I was supposed to start reading my study material but that'll wait until Monday I think!).

Tomorrow my partner and I are taking our dog (2yo Cocker Spaniel) and my parents dog (8yo Mini Schanzuer) out for the day in a city near us then going back to ours to watch movies with them on the sofa.Grin

Sunday I'm meeting two of my girlfriends for a coffee and catchup with some shopping which will be lovely.

What are you up to?

Hopefully going into labour and having a baby!

Otherwise playing with DS, napping, and doing the last few bits of prebaby washing/cleaning.

Crumpetsandjam28 · 17/01/2020 18:04

Football match with dc, shopping for new bedroom furniture, hopefully a pub lunch at some point. Lots of dog walks and tidying up. Gym or swimming on Sunday if I can be arsed. Thoroughly middle aged.

MinnieMountain · 17/01/2020 18:05

6 yo DS came out in chicken pox today. So I'll be entering him. Luckily we have a garden.

DH is away all weekend.

MIL is coming over for supper on Sunday.

coffeeoclock · 17/01/2020 18:11

@Camomila Congratulations, hopefully your baby will arrive this weekend! Thanks

Ive got to find new shoes tomorrow. Mine have holes!

MinnieMountain · 17/01/2020 18:24

*entertaining dammit!

FruityWidow · 17/01/2020 18:27

Going to London for a club night. I'm already feeling old and regretting it.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 17/01/2020 18:28

Library and fuck all else apart from laundry, cooking, cleaning, hoovering and tidying. The same as all the other weekends.

fairplay · 17/01/2020 21:28

We are hosting our first sleepover for dd and friend tonight. Ds is off to a friends tomorrow so I'm hoping to get some wallpapering done followed by wine and some sort of nice food

aibutohavethisusername · 17/01/2020 22:33

I’m not sure yet. DP is visiting his parents and DD will be at dance lessons tomorrow and working Sunday. I’ll probably do some housework and go swimming.

FrenchyQ · 17/01/2020 22:39

Tomorrow I'm taking my mum to the hospital to visit my dad, he had surgery a week a go to have his lymph nodes removed from his neck. I'm prepared for him to be grumpy tomorrow as he really wants to come home but can't til his drains have finished draining.
Sunday I really need to get on with a uni assignment I've been putting off all week... Knowing me ill still end up doing something else instead!

willothewispa · 17/01/2020 22:47

Not much. Catching up on television I've not had a chance to watch, it's a quiet time at work as there aren't many weddings at this time of year so I get my weekends off and do more work during the week.

YesILikeItToo · 17/01/2020 22:47

First away match for little girls hockey, during which I’m going to view a flat (don’t tell dd I slipped out); ballet class; another viewing; orienteering; some kind of family board game activity; on Sunday I’m hoping we’ll do very little.

Casino218 · 17/01/2020 22:48

Was going to celebrate birthday with a lovely afternoon tea at Malmaison but I caught flu and 10 days on I can't taste anything and throat very sore so cancelled. Feeling disappointed.

SoMuchToBits · 17/01/2020 22:52

I have spent today meeting a lovely friend for lunch, then catching up with a few jobs at home. Tomorrow will be getting more jobs done, then going to a concert in the evening. Sunday will be working all day (7am until 7.30pm).

MinnieMountain · 18/01/2020 05:24

DS got up at 4:20 (weeps). It's going to be a long day.

JMAngel1 · 18/01/2020 05:59

Dropping DD1 at netball then picking up DD2 from sleepover and taking her to drama whilst I do food shop. Home for lunch, tidy uo and homework then DD1s friend to pickup to come for a sleepover. Me and DH going out tonight for his work Xmas do, so my dad coming to babysit. Zumba in the morning for me then DDs swimming then pub lunch, homework, chill.

MerryDeath · 18/01/2020 06:03

@Camomila this was me last weekend!

it worked! but the downside is he's been up since 3, i've been up since 3, DS has been up since 430, DH has been up since 430. that's the first v bad night we've had 😑😑

Pumpkinbell · 18/01/2020 06:05

Saturday lunch out with DH &
DD6 before DH goes to work. DD & me are then going for Ice cream going home putting pj’s and snuggling together watching a children's DVD. Nothing finer on a weekend. Enjoy your weekend everyone 👏🍦🍦🍦🍦

BelfastNonBlonde · 18/01/2020 06:07

Using up a wedding gift voucher on a Castle Estate weekend break.

This four poster bed is bliss ☺️

DinosApple · 18/01/2020 06:18

Today we are walking to town (it's a long way) and taking the DC to Pizza Hut. I can make nicer pizzas at home, but we've got a voucher so I won't have to cook for a change, yay! Also DC's homework, tidying and chores.

Tomorrow I am baking a rainbow cake for a birthday. Never done one before so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Also a MIL visit and some Chinese research for a project at school.

We both used to work 6 days a week for years, the novelty of having two days off in a row, with the DC will never wear off!

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 18/01/2020 06:20

Off to the Lake District for a fell run and pub lunch with a friend today. Tomorrow seeing my sister and nieces and need to do some housework.

Sleephead1 · 18/01/2020 06:20

We are going to the libary then bank this morning then meeting a friend and her daughter for a cuppa. Then we are baking this afternoon. Tomorrow we are going to an event at a museum.

Salene · 18/01/2020 06:52

Volunteering at Parkrun with my two boys ages 3&5. It's a castle so after we finish then they play for a while at the outdoor adventure area. Then need to drive 30 minutes to take them to outdoor tubing party , after that another hours drive to my mums, dinner and bed for kids then I will head out for a 8 mile run. Stay at my mums as fist thing Sunday my 5 year old is doing junior parkrun and it's in her city, otherwise it's a hours drive. He is running and I'm volunteering. After that another few hours at a park and lunch at the cafe with the boys then head home for around 4pm.

That's my weekend

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 18/01/2020 07:08

Packing for DD who is going away with her class next week, and getting DS to do homework today. Tomorrow we are going out for lunch for FIL's birthday. The rest of the time will be cleaning and washing and getting ready for the week.
