What are you up to this weekend?

It's finally Friday! Happy to report I've spent the day in bed drinking coffee and watching YouTube videos. (I was supposed to start reading my study material but that'll wait until Monday I think!).

Tomorrow my partner and I are taking our dog (2yo Cocker Spaniel) and my parents dog (8yo Mini Schanzuer) out for the day in a city near us then going back to ours to watch movies with them on the sofa.

Sunday I'm meeting two of my girlfriends for a coffee and catchup with some shopping which will be lovely.

What are you up to?

We were at a family party last night for an 18th birthday, had an unexpectedly great time amongst a lovely group of young adults whom it was a pleasure to be around (even though I wasn't familiar with much of the music!) DP going to watch his team play football today and I plan to cook something nice for tea, as I tend to if I have a day at home on a Saturday. Maybe something from Made in India, cooked in Britain cookbook. Tomorrow we will be doing a 4 hour round trip to visit my Dad who is sadly in a care home.

Work today. I'm doing a long day (7:30-22:30) then a sleep on shift (22:30-7:30), I'm a support worker in supported living.

I'm off tomorrow though.

I love these threads, especially when I've been reading the news too much and have the fear that the world is about to end.

Today: dog walk, DS2 to drama club and I get to have a coffee and read in peace for an hour, to DS1's school for chapel and lunch, walk round playing fields for a couple of hours, coffee with other parents, then tonight we have some friends over for drinks

Tomorrow: taking DS2 to his first mini rugby training while DH and DS1 go to chapel, Sunday lunch at home, long family walk with the dog, get school bags and uniforms ready for Monday, watch a film (hoping to convince DH to watch The Commitments, I love that film and he's never seen it)

Seeing friends today and shopping/coffee tomo.

Dancing for both girls this morning , lots of running around as at two different venues. Going to meet some friends and go swimming this afternoon .

Done a spin class. Going for a 6 mile walk now to enjoy the sunshine. Get papers and enjoy reading them about 4. Gin.

I've just got some cherry chocolate muffins in the oven, ready for a friend popping by this afternoon. DH and both DSes are at Watford for the Spurs game. DD is doing her maths homework then we'll put on a DVD.

Tomorrow we're going to MIL's for lunch along with SIL and her family.
