It's finally Friday! Happy to report I've spent the day in bed drinking coffee and watching YouTube videos.Grin (I was supposed to start reading my study material but that'll wait until Monday I think!).

Tomorrow my partner and I are taking our dog (2yo Cocker Spaniel) and my parents dog (8yo Mini Schanzuer) out for the day in a city near us then going back to ours to watch movies with them on the sofa.Grin

Sunday I'm meeting two of my girlfriends for a coffee and catchup with some shopping which will be lovely.

What are you up to?

Just put curried mutton in the slow cooker. Taking the dog a big walk this morning. I'm currently drinking tea in bed with the baby playing beside me.

MinnieMountain · 18/01/2020 07:26

I'm v jealous of you lot with your "leaving the house" type plans.

BriefDisaster · 18/01/2020 07:43

DD has had a vomiting bug since Thursday night and is still throwing up every few hours so my weekend is now a total non event and I can't wait until Monday when I can go back to work and feel human again and not just some vomit cleaning robot.

DH will take DS out later to escape it all, DD wants me all the time so I am stiuck inside.

Thankfully Monday is DH's day off so if we are still within the 48 hours clear period he can deal with her then!

Iwanttoseethesea · 18/01/2020 07:44

Our house has recently gone on the market and today is our open day ! Hoping that it goes well and we have lots of interest !

BuddhaAtSea · 18/01/2020 08:13

Park run in a bit.
Then one of my friends is coming all the way here for lunch and a walk into town and a catch up, I am really looking forward to seeing her.
In the evening I’m ironing and catching up on Dracula etc.
Tomorrow I’m going to the gym, then chill for the rest of the day.

HemlockStarglimmer · 18/01/2020 08:20

Working

UsernameTaken76 · 18/01/2020 08:21

Up early for DDog walk and then going to Lidl to do the food shop. French toast for breakfast and then I’m going for lunch with my friend. While DH goes out with his mate and his Godson. Then home for quesadillas for tea and a film. Maybe Rocketman?

Tomorrow, I’m going to get my new phone and DH needs shoes. Visit my Dad and get some meal prep done for the week to make the evenings easier.

Fizzypoo · 18/01/2020 08:34

Dd is out, ds is at my dnans, dp is working (he doesn't normally work on Saturday) and I'm still in bed. I changed the sheets yesterday and it's so lovely to be alone!

I have studying to do later. I'm very much looking forward to finishing uni in April and having my weekends back to do what I want again.

FromTheAllotment · 18/01/2020 08:35

Good luck Camomila and congratulations MerryDeath! Flowers

We have swimming lesson for DD followed by meeting friends for a walk in the woods, then they’re all coming back here afterwards. Hopefully the children will be worn out and go to bed early and the adults can drink and play board games Grin

MrsJBaptiste · 18/01/2020 08:36

I shall be mainly looking at the calendar counting down the days until February when I can have a drink again! 😁 Every year I forget how dull it is to do Dry January. Half way through now though!

So this weekend I'll be at the gym, trying to get some meals sorted for next week and painting the kitchen. Rock and Roll! 😉

DelightfulBox · 18/01/2020 08:38

Today, a few errands, family lunch and then a bit of volunteering with Scouts tonight.

Tomorrow, who knows. Maybe a walk as it’s meant to be lovely weather.

ScribblyGum · 18/01/2020 08:41

Revising for my pharmacology exam on Monday.
Ciprofloxacin is a cytochrome P450 inhibitor, whereas rifampin is P450 inducer. This is important.

Dh is at work this morning, I’m taking dd3 for her swimming lesson at 10.30am then her friend is coming round for a couple of hours to play, she is then going to grandma’s to stay the night - yay! Dd1&2 will probably go into town for a bit or sit in their bedrooms on their laptops then dd2’s friend is coming for a sleepover tonight. Dh and I are off out for a few drinks this evening for his birthday then tomorrow will be the usual round of washing/ironing uniforms, homework, cooking a roast etc that most Sundays involve.

lucysmam · 18/01/2020 08:52

I've got the washer on and am going to wash up last night's tea pots in a minute. Then get ready & go to my Saturday job; hopefully it's quiet & I can leave earlier than planned - I'm full of cold & just want to mooch about doing not much

The girls will (hopefully!) start homework with their dad, and I'm going to leave a couple of small jobs to be done (hoovering upstairs and sweeping/mopping downstairs).

Tomorrow will be prep for the coming week - baking for lunches, iron uniforms, last of homework, make sure my things are sorted for Rainbows and Guides on Tuesday. Might go for a walk if the weather's reasonably nice.

No idea what's for tea tonight but it's braising steak tomorrow. Probably with mash and carrotts :)

HeronLanyon · 18/01/2020 08:55

Fullon domestic day today including major clothes sort out. Personal paperwork.
Out for dinner with two lovely close friends.
Not drinking (alcohol free January) I hope. Although have thought about it !
Tomorrow into work to do catch up admin/paperwork. Self employed.

WoollyMummoth · 18/01/2020 08:58

Driving DS and friend to the football in my new car! Parking my new car at the cinema to watch Cats with DD.Driving my new car to Nando’s for tea. Taking my DS to football practice in my new car. Wrapping son in bin bags before he gets back into my new car. Sunday-gazing out of the window at my new car!😁

gemdrop84 · 18/01/2020 09:02

Today: Revising for an exam on Monday morning. I've got a mountain of washing and chores to do, have made a list, so will delegate tasks to everyone and hopefully get it done in a couple of hours. Just started trying to crochet a granny square and thinking of making myself a blanket. Oh and eat leftover Chinese from last night...dont judge me Grin
Tomorrow: Revision, crochet and then going to visit family so that'll be nice.

HeronLanyon · 18/01/2020 09:02

woolly got a new motah by any chance ?

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 18/01/2020 09:04

In an hour somebody comes to view our flat. LL wants to sell (5th viewing in 5 years - his price is way off).
It's an investor who does not want to live here / wants to buy with a view to chase normal income families out of the region - so a minor locust. (I am not in the UK and views on housing are different.)

LajesticVantrashell · 18/01/2020 09:13

Today - trying to find free activities as we're skint til Monday. So light installation at the local Cathedral, then onto the city farm park with DS3. Home, then scoot to the park with the dog and home made burgers for tea.

Tomorrow is my lie in Grin then a friend is taking me for a posh afternoon tea as a belated birthday present. Can't wait!

Jowak1 · 18/01/2020 09:14

My son is playing basketball at 2.30pm so I will take him there and while I wait for him my daughter and I go to the local Costa (in a Tesco ) for a drink and pick up any shopping items I need from the Tesco. My husband works on a Saturday so other than that I will just get washing and other household jobs done. Tomorrow we are all going swimming and out for lunch which will be nice as we haven't been swimming for ages.

PH30B3 · 18/01/2020 09:38

Well I had such good intentions today of cleaning my kitchen then gutting upstairs...
Instead I'm sat under a blanket watching netflix with a snoring dog.
Nevermind... Always next week.

troppibambini · 18/01/2020 09:45

2 children to football this morning
1 child to a sleepover at 1
3 children to jujitsu this afternoon
Homework
Need to make some granola and stewed apple and blackberries
Also do a curry for dinner.

1 child to rugby
Pick up child from sleep over and take to visual processing therapy
Dh taking all 4 children to see his dad
I need to iron and make a roast

That's it really not very exciting!!

babychampam · 18/01/2020 10:00

Housework this morning, I'm almost done and the second load of washing is in.

Dh is at work today so it's just me and the dc. We will probably take a trip into town later, they both have Christmas money left that they want to spend.

I'll either make something nice for dinner or order in a Chinese, I have wine in the fridge.

Tomorrow will be either cinema or swimming in the morning, home for a roast and then the usual prep for the week.
