I wanted to be married to Kevin Keegan. Instead I work in finance

Heavily influenced by Sunday evening TV and James Herriot, I wanted to be a vet.
I’m not, but I drive around Yorkshire in a Land Rover, and actually, that is the bit that appealed.

I wanted to be a bus conductor, or a lollipop lady.

I ended up being a teenage mum.

I worked 12hrs shifts in a factory.

I wanted to be a police officer. I'm actually an accounts assistant!

Midwife. I'm a midwife!

Ballet dancer, nun, teacher. Never did any of them.

A zoologist. I'm a Personal Assistant now (it's a little bit similar lol)>

Electrical engineer- turned out physics wasn't my strong suit

Then a forensic scientist or biomedical science

Now work in education

A doctor.

I now work in admin but will hopefully start uni in September to do my midwifery degree so close-ish

A nurse. I’m a physiotherapist

Air stewardess and now work in local government.

I was told by a then friend I was too ugly to be a stewardess. Funny thing is, shes the one walking round town, ravaged by drugs with hardly any teeth and a huge scar on her face after being slashed in jail.

An author or a journalist

As a child? All sorts!

As a teen? A SAHM

And I'm now a SAHM.

I wanted to be a police woman until Yvonne Fletcher got shot. Then I decided being a teacher would be much safer.

I'm now a teacher. But secondary instead of Primary.

A teacher. I thought I'd get to be bossy and tell everyone else what to do and get them to do all the work whilst I would just sit at a desk drinking tea.

I wanted to be Professor or a Librarian. I'm a senior business analyst in a global firm.

I wanted to be a hairdresser. I am one.

A nun. Ended up a journalist now something writing related.

@gluetack Hi! I manage large ground investigation projects all over the UK with drilling rigs and personnel on site logging soil and rock that comes out the ground. I get out to get my hands dirty when I can!

I wanted to clean buses, because they were always so dirty 🤣😂
