Which TV series did you used to enjoy but can't rewatch?

I was a huge Sex and the city fan when it was originally on and later got the DVD box set, but if I catch any of it now I don't enjoy it. I guess part of it was that as a teenager their life was so glamorous and exciting whereas now they all get on my nerves and none are particularly likeable.
Which shows are you disappointed by when you go back to them?

The OC and Dawson’s Creek .

Twin Peaks. I was enthralled when it first aired, but couldn't get to grips with it at all when I tried to watch it again a couple of years ago.

I used to love Will and Grace when it was originally on but I can’t rewatch it. I just cringe.

Also Fawlty Towers. It stopped being funny when I was in my 20s.

House of Cards

Father Ted. Me and DH used to find it hilarious. Bought box set recently and we just thought it was crap!

The OC is a good shout. I was a teenager when it first aired and the key target audience. Now it would be pure cringe.

Family Guy. It can fuck off.

I rewatched all of OC recently, quite enjoyed it.

Tried to watch Dawson's Creek. Didn't even make it 20 mins into the first episode. So bad.

Game of Thrones, can't bear to watch it now knowing how it ended. Awful.

Friends now too, I find bits of it so awful now. I never liked Sex in the City at all, but I also agree with Dawsons Creek and Thundercats

I still like SATC now. I watch it here and there for the nostalgia, and to re-evaluate what I think of them now I’m older.

I can’t bear to watch Friends, I find it so tired now.

Moonlighting. I thought it was brilliant as a teenager. Caught an episode recently and it was awful.

Big Bang Theory. I used to love it but bit by bit noticed all the sexism. I can’t unsee it now and find the whole series is a load of sexist shite.

Twin Peaks for me too. I watched it as a 12 year old at my friend's house (mum wouldn't let me watch at home) and was enthralled. Watched it when it aired a couple of years ago and struggled to get into it (not helped by DH moaning about how crap it was first time round and hadn't improved with rewatching). I didn't like the new series.

Definitely Friends. I just want to strangle Ross. They are all horrid.

Buffy. I loved this so much in my teens. It made sense then. Tried to rewatch it last year but no. Magic has gone.

Dawson's creek. They were all so fucking whiny.

Charmed (the original series, not the new woke one) loved it but so dated now.
