I need to get my arse into gear next year, so far, I'm planning on C25k and have signed up to January Cure.

will be attempting to get my hair trimmed more regularly than once a year and I need to eat healthier and cook from scratch more.

Anyone else wanting to join me?

@WindFlower92 well done, set a timer for 20 mins and see how much you get done per room. Then repeat everyday till it's done. Sometimes I reset the timer for another 20 mins if I have the spare time to do so.

@Stilllivinginazoo, my self care is also not going very well but I'm managing to walk 5/7 mornings and today I am finally sorting the kitchen cupboards.

Charity bags have gone
Visited amazing local wholefoods co operative for some healthy eating bits n bobs
Today's plan includes a nice manicure

I got rid of 6 blacks of rubbish from doing the kitchen!

By rubbish I meant, rusty old baking trays, random lids that didn't fit anything, tall plastic cups with no straws, broken bits, old baking stuff etc etc

How's everyone else doing?

Still hit and miss with me at the moment but the kitchen has been spotless every night since starting except for the one evening when I was just too tired and did it in the morning.

Really need to catch up with the one thing a day emails as I have not even managed to read them.

I'm now working full time so less time to do everything but I will get there.

No doing too badly here; I've been adding one resolution per week rather than going at it headlong as I usually do on January 1st, and that seems to be working better! I've lost half a stone although definitely more room for improvement there and am taking more exercise. House is cleaner but the loft is still a horror story Confused

@Spartonian I tell myself every evening that I'm going to clean the cooker top. Still haven't done it... just hate that job!

Spartonian · 09/02/2020 23:35

I still haven't written any of the diaries I was planning on doing.

Self care is still hit and miss

Still have not done the cupboards that really need doing.

Bedtime routine is non existent

Really need to sit down and get a routine written so I have some kind of starting point.

Hope everyone else is doing better than me

@RubySlippers77 well done on the weight loss and house.

Order a skip when you have a spare weekend to do the loft, that way you have to do it.

@Spartonian I was doing well when I had a routine... the past week I've had a streaming cold and not bothered with anything. My productivity is at about 10% Sad

A skip isn't needed so much as space to move all the loft stuff into, sort it, repack it and charity shop what I don't need. Unfortunately our loft is all corners, angles and odd beams seemingly put there simply for people to crack their heads on which makes it about ten times harder than it should do to tidy it... plus I get demoralised before I even start the job! But will get round to it after half term Smile
