Is it weird to give nursery a replacement class photo with my Ds photoshopped in

Just that really...Ds missed class photo day last Feb. Got around to ordering photos recently and the photo company kindly photoshopped him in and it looks great. I ordered two copies and was going to give one to the school to replace the one on the wall without him....DD going there next year though it'd be nice for her to see him....but when I rang the nursery the receptionist seemed a bit serious and quiet and just said she'll get the teacher to ring me back...now I feel a bit awkward like I'm being a bit precious and a bit embarrassed. Is this a bit weird?

This has cheered me right up. Grin You are very nicely nuts.

VanyaHargreeves · 08/12/2019 20:21

Hilarious. Completely Mad.

MissFitton · 08/12/2019 20:26

Please tell me it's a picture of your ds randomly on a swing or something photoshopped onto the standard white-background-small-kids-in-groups photo? That would be brilliant Grin

Isn't it lovely the bonkers things we do for our dcs? Smile

On the list of weird things to do, this comes just below the thread where the OP was given a present by her friend of a piece of jewellery engraved with the friend's child's name and that was about as bonkers as you can get Grin

I’ve had the shutters couple of weeks of my life and I’d like you to know OP that this post has put a little smile on my face. Thank you xx

You have cheered me up massively Grin

AJPTaylor · 08/12/2019 20:43

He is not even there anymore? They have all moved on to Reception? Grin

Janedownourlane · 08/12/2019 20:44

He wasnt there that day, the register for the day is a legal document. His photo implies he was there, when he wasnt, so register appears wrong, that may be why they need to get back to you?

wheresmyhairytoe · 08/12/2019 20:45

He's not even there now?!

Bonkers.

blue25 · 08/12/2019 20:45

Oh dear. That’s very weird. The staff room will have a field day with that!

00100001 · 08/12/2019 20:48

What makes you think they still have last year's class photo up? Especially as they've all moved onto Primary School... and then
why would they still have it up next year when your DD goes?

the class photo would be 2 years old...?

Redact · 08/12/2019 20:50

I thought it was a good idea! That must make me bonkers too op 😂

Isaididont · 08/12/2019 20:50
