My NY Resolution for 2020 is 'to have more fun'.

A fantastic vegetarian cooking course

Skiing in Colorado
Biking in Cuba
Owning a house in Florida and chalet in France

Scuba diving in Indonesia, spending a month on Singapore (harbour bay is my favourite place) and being able to own my own home in my mid twenties aka generation rent.

Winery tour (and tasting!) in Napa
Staying in Yosemite National Park
Seeing a therapist (just the one session but it was like a lightbulb going on in my head)

NY at Christmas
Swimming with wild dolphins in Mauritius
Eating at the Fat Duck.

Learn to swim
Get my masters
Make my job into what I have today which is the happiest I’ve been at work my whole life

having kids
getting an allotment
having a dog....sorry thats 4

Travelling on the Trans Siberian Railway

I've done some great things but no holiday can compare.

Acting classes just for fun
Wrote a blog. So much fun to write and be read and appreciated
Welcomed refugees into my home.

Family holiday to Florida

Oh I'd love a dog.

Not the right time at the moment though.... some wonderful ideas!

Aside from getting married & having DC, the things that have given me most pleasure are

Horse riding
Cycling
Travel

Moving to the US, climbing to the top of Angel’s Landing and living on a lake.

Getting back in a plane even though I'm terrified of flying

Visiting Morocco earlier this year

Divorcing exh

Deciding to have a ONS with a friend.

Allowing the ONS to come back after work the following day.

Giving the ONS a chance, as he inexplicably seemed to have the ability to make me crease up with laughter.

I've been doing karate for the last 8 years (son did a taster at school and wanted to carry on, then we all joined in).

I'm not particularly physically talented (I played on the school hockey team once, because practically everyone else was busy; and though I did cross-country at primary school I was invariably last) and was pretty unfit even before having two children.

Getting my black belt, and two years later second dan, has been a challenge but I've enjoyed it So Much.

(Not even thinking about 3rd dan. Not only am I useless at teaching (anything); my grasp of bunkai is pretty woeful and I can't think quickly enough to react spontaneously. Still not convinced I should have got the second stripe, to be honest.)

Ran a nightclub
Got myself clean from heroin/crack/alcohol
Got my little dog

Co sailing a catamaran with my mate, Diggers, off the coast of Jumeirah beach (he lived there and it was a thank you for some work if helped with). I can’t even swim but he made me feel very safe and I bloody loved it!
Visiting Beirut, Lebanon (alone) about twenty years ago. It was for work but I had a fabulous time with the most delightful and welcoming people (my God, Lebanese men are bloody gorgeous )

Living in The Philippines and China for a few years - Manila and just outside Naniing - again, wonderful welcoming people. Best time of my life. Started my life long love of Asia.

Getting a cat, buying my first home, watching the sun rise over temples/deserted beaches/eerily quiet lakes around the world and reminding myself how very lucky I am.

Wow I would love to have scuba dived on the Great Barrier Reef. Would you mind sharing info on the cooking course?

Living in a remote African village, going on safari, and learning to scuba dive (more than one but all part of the same trip!)
