Is there already a thread about the instamum dramas involving MoD today?

Who is Cash Carraway and what happened last year with her?

RexDangerVest · 07/11/2019 21:16

I was wondering that

LoveNote · 07/11/2019 21:17

A quick google says they have a social media policy

unless there a more detailed one then not sure she's done any of that....these were friends, not patients as far as i know

Cash carraway as far as I remember was a woman who had fled from domestic violence as a single mum. She was in a refuge and then placed in a council flat and was pretty poor. She started doing shows I am not sure what about but know she had strong political opinions and disliked the Tories as she could see all around her personally the devastating effects that decisions were having on the working class.

She was ripped apart on mumsnet repeatedly and on Instagram. People kept saying she was making it up and wasnt poor and I believe mod joined in and bullied her and from the comments on tattle defo targeted her. She ended up deleting her instagram and someone upthread said she had a break down which I hope isnt true. It was all pretty shameful the way grown women were targeting her.

Scbchl · 07/11/2019 21:26

And before I'm accused, I'm absolutely NOT Cash Carraway.

'If you are unsure whether something you post online could compromise your professionalism or your reputation, you should think about what the information means for you in practice and how it affects your responsibility to keep to the Code.
It is important to consider who and what you associate with on social media. For example, acknowledging someone else’s post
can imply that you endorse or support their point of view. You should consider the possibility of other people mentioning you in inappropriate posts. If you have used social media for a number of years, it is important to consider, in relation to the Code, what you have posted online in the past.'
Think she may have a few problems with this...

ChocolateTea · 07/11/2019 21:58

SV has now posted a new set of stories, and said she's unfollowed. It's a pretty strong reaction, and will have an impact I'm sure.

It looks like Clemmie T and Candice have unfollowed her, as well as Mother Pukka?

However, 2 of those three still follow her private IG. So I wonder how long until they refollow? Or whether this is it?

ChocolateTea · 07/11/2019 21:58

As in CT C and MP have unfollowed MOD

OopsUditAgain · 07/11/2019 22:00

Alice referred several times to having beef with CC because she had tried to ruin her “friend’s” life. After I figured out who Alice was likely to be I always suspected this referred to the Harvey Weinstein comment. This suspicion was confirmed for me when Clemmie referred to it in the awkward apology exchange on twitter between them after the Sali Hughes meltdown (are you following still? 🤣). I understood where CC was coming from with the HW comment - not that mod was literally abusing people (duh) but that her power and influence on Instagram meant no one would challenge her on anything - borne out by the fact that very few of the instahuns have been willing to actually confront her on the slagging off she’s been doing about them. They must have known for months, they are all over Tattle refreshing the threads constantly I bet.

Belty · 07/11/2019 22:01

Mod convinced her followers that cc was lying about fleeing domestic abuse and in response Cash called Clemmie the Harvey Weinstein of instamums and then all the instamums called cash a bully and piled on until she deleted her account

Yeah, I don't know about CC. There was a lot of 'I have instructed my lawyers' going on and stuff going on here, and apparently in WhatsApp groups etc. There was something off about her, but I hope her and her daughter are doing OK.

It's so weird, there have always been rumours about MOD bullying people etc but to be honest I just thought they were bollocks and it was just because she was top dog.

Still can't believe she has done this. What the fuck was she thinking? I feel so sorry for her girls as well, her older ones will be fully aware of this.

OopsUditAgain · 07/11/2019 22:20

Cash seems a lot nicer person on Twitter. I think coming off Instagram was a good thing for her.

There is no way mod’s girls won’t know about this. I’ve seen the older one post on FoD’s feed before (her comment seemed to be swiftly deleted) so I’m pretty sure she has her own Instagram account and must follow her mum and dad’s accounts and will be aware of what’s happening. Poor girls.

ChocolateTea · 07/11/2019 22:23

I would also worry for them in terms of financial repercussions. Have they done school fees and house fees based on income from social media, which may now go on a (temporary) hiatus?

One would hope that being in the position they are they have savings, but this could be a tumbler, even if its short term, it could affect their income

morningdread · 07/11/2019 22:33

However, 2 of those three still follow her private IG.
Why bother unfollowing her public one then? What's the point.

this is why I left insta, how can you trust anyone when they are only loyal to the ££

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 07/11/2019 22:35

Of course it's going to affect their income. Who is going to want to collaborate with her now? It's over surely?

As you say, hopefully they will have made hay while the sun shone and have saved up lots. After all, even without this, it was never going to be a long term money maker.

soolar · 07/11/2019 22:53

I have a real soft spot for a z list goss and this is just amazingly Shakespearean, queen bee of the instamums surrounded by absolute yesman lackeys, gets hoisted by her own petard and publically shamed.

I'm with Pam re the drama Grin

AlbertWinestein · 07/11/2019 23:03

@soolar I’m with you and Pam. This has made me laugh so much.

nowifi · 07/11/2019 23:30

I too have been loving the drama haha! I do feel for those girls though, looking back at Mods older posts it seems like they were all a lot happier before this fame and extra cash. Finally I feel glad to have no money haha!

EdWinchester · 08/11/2019 00:48

The only positive thing to come out of this is that she acknowledges her husband is a tool.

Stfrancesof · 08/11/2019 05:05

What does she say about her husband? And why would she do that?!?

morningdread · 08/11/2019 05:34

I get that's it's not nice to read hurtful things about you but looking at her alias posts on T, she doesn't even address the valid criticisms & instead just seems to slag the other insta mums off. I love the "there's tasteful grey & Mrs Hinch grey". True dat!
