How do you pronounce turquoise?

Or
Turk-woys
Or other.

If I did say tur Kwah - is full on french accent I’d feel rather silly like saying I was going to par-Ee. But this isn’t consistent. I do say some things in the correct foreign accent - no idea what determines this.

I pronounce it turk-woys & everyone I know pronounces it turk-woys. My daughter used to be in turk-woys class!
