How do you pronounce turquoise?

Having a small disagreement with DH, is it;

Or
Turk-woys
Or other.

Tur -kwoys

Tur-Kwoice (end rhymes with voice)

Don't think I've ever heard anyone pronounce it with the W sound and most definitely haven't heard anyone pronounce it turk-wise.

I'm going to ask everyone to say it now

one of my mother's chums who imagines she is very posh says tor-quazz. But she also says APP ree-cot instead of APE-rhicot so I think we can all discount her and her nonsense.

Yeah, sort of like this. Definitely not an 'oy' sound. It is a longer 'ahh' sound. No idea how to write it though.
