He's only 10 months but always has these bits that stick out at the sides.
Should I chop them off ? Seems so young to have a hair cut!

Both mine had haircuts before age 1 as they were hairy babies. If they annoy you then trim them

Cookit · 27/10/2019 18:05

Oh those are cute, I’d leave them.

I started cutting my son’s around 6 months though as it was getting in his eyes. I just did fringe until about 18 months as I loved the baby curls.

MrsMozartMkII · 27/10/2019 18:06

No! Leave them. So cute.

I'd say leave them, they'll grow and drop

Phoebesfleas · 27/10/2019 18:07

Far too cute to cut! I didn’t cut DS’s curls until they were flopping in his eyes.

Nonnymum · 27/10/2019 18:07

I would leave them. They look very cute.

DaveCoachesgavemetheclap · 27/10/2019 18:07

No they're really cute!

motherheroic · 27/10/2019 18:07

It's cute. Better than having a grown up haircut.

PennyNotSoWise · 27/10/2019 18:09

Noooo! You simply can't, they're adorable!

Longdistance · 27/10/2019 18:16

No. Leave it a bit longer, well until his hair gets in the way of his eyes.
Both dds had loads of hair when they were born, but only got cut when it was getting near their eyes.
Just be sure to keep a few locks when he has his first cut.

mamandematribu · 27/10/2019 18:20

In my culture it's very bad luck to cut a child's hair before age 2. Personally I would never cut a child's hair before 2. Your choice though.your child.

Winterdaysarehere · 27/10/2019 18:21

Don't you dare op!!.

Oldbird69 · 27/10/2019 18:27

If they annoy you I see no problem in having them trimmed. It's your child, your decision.

ilovetofu · 27/10/2019 18:42

No!

SummerHouse · 27/10/2019 18:44

Perhaps a touch of wet look gel might do the trick?

theunknownknown · 27/10/2019 18:46

? wet gel. Why
They are adorable

MotherOfSoupDragons · 27/10/2019 18:47

Cut off his curls?

LesLavandes · 27/10/2019 18:49

Nooooooooooo!

SoyDora · 27/10/2019 18:51

Wet look gel?! I hope that was a joke Grin.
Leave them, they’re cute. Unless they’re annoying him.

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 27/10/2019 18:52

Your child, neither option is ‘wrong’. I think they’re cute and I’m not a huge fan of ‘big boy (or girl)’ haircuts on babies and toddlers so my preference would be to keep the little curls, but if your own child’s hair is annoying you, snip it while you still have all the say-so. Grin

SummerHouse · 27/10/2019 18:53

Wet look gel was a joke OP. Please don't gel him! And no, don't cut those curls. They are cute beyond belief.

scrivette · 27/10/2019 18:59

They are cute, don't cut them!

KatyaK · 27/10/2019 19:02

So cute! Keep them! Smile

sakura06 · 27/10/2019 19:04

No. So cute!

iMatter · 27/10/2019 19:06
