He's only 10 months but always has these bits that stick out at the sides.
Should I chop them off ? Seems so young to have a hair cut!

So cute. I think they look lovely.

I had to have my ds hair cut at 15 months because his fringe was constantly in his eyes but she also trimmed the rest and I so wished I hadn't let her, all his little curls! Unless it's annoying him I wouldn't.

AnneLovesGilbert · 27/10/2019 19:17

Did you post to get lots of comments about your adorable child? Grin

Fair enough if you did, those are gorgeous curls! Leave them me.

OpheliaBee · 27/10/2019 19:22

Very cute little curls! My 13mo is developing quite the mop of blonde curls/fluff depending on how recently it was washed. I looked at him earlier and thought ‘god you need a haircut’ but tbh I can’t even bring myself to think about it!

Isitnearlyweekend · 27/10/2019 19:24

Nnnnnooooooo!!! Please don’t cut those absolutely beautiful curls. I cut my son’s hair and the curls never grew back 😩

Stillmonday · 27/10/2019 19:36

Super chuffed you all like his curls! I do too but some family members keep telling me to chop them off so thought I would be in the minority. We are keeping them ❤️

Disfordarkchocolate · 27/10/2019 19:38

Let's hope those family members don't cut them for you.

Winterdaysarehere · 27/10/2019 20:56

I left ds's curls until the 'she is lovely', comment started!!

ErinSophia · 28/10/2019 11:35

No, it looks cute. My son is 10 months and his hair is similar to this x

Pantalaimon88 · 28/10/2019 11:37

Don’t you dare! They are gorgeous. My DS has similar curls and no way will I be cutting them.

Personally I hate “grown up” haircuts on children.

spiderlight · 28/10/2019 12:01

Nooo - too cute to cut!

Ravenrob · 28/10/2019 12:01

No, it's lovely! My boy had long curls until he was about 3.

Rockbird · 28/10/2019 12:28

No! How could you. He'll never have that look again 👶🏼

AutumnalLeaves38 · 28/10/2019 13:44

Adorable, OP.

Always interesting to see just how curly a child's hair grows, when the beginnings are there.
Lucky boy!

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 28/10/2019 14:15

Squeeee, and also nom nom nom. Leave well alone OP, this time will never come again.

GeorgianaDovesHouse · 28/10/2019 15:05

His hair is lovely. 🙂

mclover · 28/10/2019 15:08

No they are cute! Plus once you cute off that curly baby hair it will be straight so enjoy those curls whilst they last.

Ginfordinner · 28/10/2019 15:11

I don't understand why some parents are averse to cutting their babies' hair. If it is annoying or impractical then cut it. Personally, I hate seeing babies and toddlers with straggly hair just because their parents can't bear the thought of cutting it.

EnidButton · 28/10/2019 17:01

Omg no. They're adorable. Like little cherub curls!

Pinkblueberry · 28/10/2019 17:06

You can cut it or leave it, I don’t think either is wrong (although I do think the curls are cute, so I personally would leave it alone.)

Ohyesiam · 28/10/2019 17:09

I’d say they’re a major part of his cute value.

Oblomov19 · 28/10/2019 17:14

I would. But only because hair grows so much better after a trim, and I think this is true of babies too.

yikesanotherbooboo · 28/10/2019 17:54

As it is curling and seemingly not annoying him I would leave it... I like babies to look like babies and don't like seeing them styled in any way. Saying that my middle child had regular haircuts from very young as his dead straight hair grew quickly and thickly and constantly seemed to get on the way. I used to snip away at DDs from about 2or 3 to keep it out of her eyes and later to keep it short enough that it didn't require fussing with .DS2 had wavy hair that imo didn't need cutting but I cam home from work one day to find that my toddler had had a short back and sides at the behest of my mil.
