Celebrities that nobody seems to dislike

This will probably bring people out the woodwork to say they hate so and so celebrity but who are the ones that you never really hear a bad word said about them? My nomination is: Dolly Parton.

Viggo! Just seen clips of him speaking Danish, English, French, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and Arabic (depending on who is interviewing him) Legend (making up for generally shite films unless he's in grubby yet hot Aragorn guise)

Don't think the victims of the Krays would agree about Barbara Windsor btw. Playing the east end moll thing in her professional life is all well and good but her lines are quite badly blurred from a moral point of view.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 22/10/2019 07:19

The lovely Barbara Windsor

Oooh I’m sorry, I’ll have to disagree with you there.

SaddleGhost · 22/10/2019 07:41

I don't think anyone's mentioned Pink. I've never seen anything bad written about her really. She's a great mum and the story she told once about her daughter was lovely. I hope I'm not wrong!

FreeBedForFlys · 22/10/2019 08:09

Sorry @ItsCharging but Noel Fitzpatrick according to many people who have worked with him (and a couple I know who know him) is an arsehole. Also if you’re female it’s suggested you avoid being alone with him. I know. I was gutted too.

FreeBedForFlys · 22/10/2019 08:10

@Wildthyme that’s so lovely it’s made me well up 😍

ItsCharging · 22/10/2019 08:31

@FreeBedForFlys oh! That is gutting!!

Jellybubbamama0987 · 22/10/2019 08:33

I’ve met Jim Broadbent several times and he is so quiet and unassuming. I’d say he was definitely on the nice list

AmIChangingagain · 22/10/2019 08:42

Wild thyme "Capaldi said "What's ye name hen, would ye like a selfie with the Doctor? Show it to all ye pals."

Are you sure it was Peter Capaldi? Shock

A few years ago, my sister's DD was working on Eurostar, serving drinks, and she took a coffee into a carriage to find it was Paul McCartney! To her horror she dropped the drink all over his coat, which was on the seat next to him.He said "Don't worry, love, this coat's nearly as old as me! " and helped her clear it up. Our family have loved him ever since!

ginghamtablecloths · 22/10/2019 09:11

They say that Paul Carrack is a really nice man - a fine voice too and much-underrated.

MrsW99 · 22/10/2019 09:18

Keanu !!!! Also Mark Hamill who was so lovely to my son when he met him.Benedict Cumberbatch is nice

Victoria wood.

Holly willoughby is so annoyingly wholesome.

WombleishofTheThighs · 22/10/2019 11:06

I briefly lived in a house just outside the village where Victoria Wood had a house in Lancashire and, while she wasn't disliked, she was apparently a bit stand-offish and didn't really integrate into village life. I suppose, though, that she was there to relax and get away from the public eye with her family.

WombleishofTheThighs · 22/10/2019 11:08

I still think she was a genius comedy writer and her characters where absolutely spot-on and relatable. I still have a huge love of dinnerladies in particular.

thecatneuterer · 22/10/2019 11:28

Whoever mentioned the Siddiquis first - I think you have a winner.

Agree. No one can possibly not like them, surely? However describing them as celebrities could be considered a bit of a stretch.

Mrsjayy · 22/10/2019 11:48

On one of the tribute programmes about Victoria wood one of her pals said she could be a bit shy and stand offish so it was probably just her way but how anybody could dislike victoria wood is beyond me .

DarlingNikita · 22/10/2019 12:29

Aljaz off strictly seems adorable. Doesn't he just? A proper gent.

Someone on a MN thread said Roger Federer was uninterested and stand-offish when they took their DC to meet him. I've always thought he was arrogant TBH. And he was ungracious in defeat at Wimbledon this year.

Saw Cumberbatch on stage in Hamlet and at the end he and the rest of the cast said they were raising money for Syrian refugee kids and stood outside with collection buckets. He puts his money where his mouth is IMO. Oh and he went to public school on a scholarship, so not that privileged.

WombleishofTheThighs · 22/10/2019 12:29

The Siddiquis are lovely, the dad is such a sweetheart!

Mrsjayy · 22/10/2019 12:58

Alijaz is. Just adorable I like him and Janette I hope they last forever

thecatneuterer · 22/10/2019 13:37

I agree with Alijaz.

Squiz81 · 22/10/2019 14:43

Chris Pratt
Chris Hemsworth

Has anyone said Lisa Tarbuck, think she'd be a lot of fun
