We use it in salad or with new potatoes

Smoked mackerel Welsh rarebit on French bread with horseradish yum yum yum!

Whizz it up with a pack of Philadelphia and a tablespoon of horseradish. Pate!

Salad and new potatoes. Either cold, or pan fried, or just heated in the microwave for a very short time.

Green salad, plain boiled potatoes, pickle some cucumber sliced.

Make a mackerel pate with cream cheese and a few capers. Serve with sourdough toast.

Grill it with butter then eat it on hot buttery white bread toast...that was my pregnancy craving 17 years ago, I ate so much of it I couldn't face it for years!
