I'm having a cuppa before anyone wakes up. We're going to see Downton. We always pick the earliest show become it's mostly empty.

We're moving house on Tuesday so I need to get out of the chaos for a while! We'll come home and pack some more then go for a walk before dinner.

We're having ribeye steaks with home made bearnaise sauce for dinner.

Hopefully it will be relaxing, last week was mental with 4 late nights working.

At the moment I'm having a brew whilst ds watches Thomas. Will have some breakfast when everyone else wakes up.
Family over later for a roast.
Dog sitting at the mo and struggling to keep my eyes open as said dog doesn't sleep. Also doesn't like the rain and it's been pissing down all night long here Envy

lassofthenorth · 29/09/2019 07:17

I have been up for an hour, on my second espresso reading my weekly newspapers. I subscribe to the Guardian Weekly and The Week and it feels like a guilty pleasure. Just enough to read without feeling guilty that I haven't read the paper I have bought.

I need to go to work for a couple of hours, finish an assignment on a course I am doing, take DD to the rescue (we are getting a cat), finish some sewing and do laundry.

Hideous day weather wise here. I always sleep with a window open and love the sound of waking up to the rain.

MagicKingdom17 · 29/09/2019 07:19

I’ve been up with the baby since 3.30am & I am now waiting for the shopping delivery whilst watching The Circle.

I plan to pass DD to DH so I can have a bloody loooong bath later.

Chocolatedaim · 29/09/2019 07:20

Daughter is watching Bing (bloody hate bing, so spoilt and whiny!) and I have a cuppa on the go.
I’ve been meaning to dye my hair for weeks so I may do that whilst Dd is preoccupied and no one else Is up!

Omgnamechange · 29/09/2019 07:20

I m in bed on mn out all day so have to catch up on some laundry chores, email and some shopping for week ahead.

Omgnamechange · 29/09/2019 07:21

Everyone else is sleeping

Sleeplease · 29/09/2019 07:22

Been up with a newborn all night and the two longer stretches of sleep my 5 year old decided to call me through as he'd woken up. Now feeling I could pass out/vomit in tiredness but I think we'll have to go out to keep me awake today. Hopefully we can go for a meal so I don't have to cook but first I need to get some washing done and have a clean up before Monday rolls around

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 29/09/2019 07:22

How far are you moving OP? Are you excited?

Dh and I having a rare lie in. I’m normally walking the dogs by now and dh out cycling, but weather so rainy he’s not cycling and he’s volunteered to walk the dogs in a bit. I’m very happy to be spending time in bed.

All our dc are at uni, so we are term time empty nesters, so dh and I now do as we please. Quite enjoying it tbh Grin

Bluesheep8 · 29/09/2019 07:23

lassofthenorth good luck with your adoption, breaks my heart going to choose as I want to give them all a home. Going food shopping this morning when Aldi opens at 10, then making roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for lunch. Quiet afternoon watching Masterchef on catch up then sandwiches and Wine whilst watching the capture and the confession. It's catch up tv day here

SaDo12 · 29/09/2019 07:25

It's an exciting day here! Taking mum and dd to church and after I've dropped them off, off to the airport to pick up cousin and her dd. We have never met physically so the excitement levels are high!!!

helloisitmeyourelookingfor · 29/09/2019 07:27

I've got some marking and planning to do this morning but planning movies and popcorn with my dds on the sofa this afternoon

valleysareus · 29/09/2019 07:29

Everyone still in bed. It's going to rain all day so most likely a day at home.

Busydrinkingcoffee1 · 29/09/2019 07:30

I'm having a cup of tea whilst DS watches Bing, then later we're off to brave Ikea, then will find somewhere for a roast!

So jealous you're off to see the downton movie! I can't wait to watch it!

8stoneloser · 29/09/2019 07:30

It's getting exciting now! We're staying in the same town just moving to a bigger house finally!!

@lassofthenorth what a lovely thing to do Smile

dh goes to work for the morning, i go to work for the evening.
my dm pops over for a dog walk
unfortunately i woke at 5.30, seem to be on a roll these last few days.
feeling exhausted.
might make tonight's meal this morning

GertrudeCB · 29/09/2019 07:34

Just having a cuppa with DH before I take the dog for a run on the beach ( him running, not me Grin)
Then a quiet day in , dh is tackling the ironing and making a lasagne, I've got some sorting out of summer/ winter clothes to do. Were usually out on a sunday so this'll be a nice change.

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 29/09/2019 07:35

We are all still in bed watching telly/ on phones.

Friend and her DS are coming over this morning to play as no one fancies junior park run in the rain.

Then to the in laws for Sunday lunch.

I'll got for a run at some point

TheStoreRoom · 29/09/2019 07:35

Powers been off since 3am and not back on until 11am so Mac Donald’s takeaway breakfast. Pissing it down so cinema or softplay on the cards I think.

EmrysAtticus · 29/09/2019 07:36

DH didn't get in until 11 so DS and I are watching Fireman Sam while he has a lie in. Predicted rain this morning and dry this afternoon. No idea what we will do this morning but will go for a walk this afternoon. Planning a roast for dinner.

thunderthighsohwoe · 29/09/2019 07:39

10 month old cannot entertain herself for ten seconds and is frustrated that she cannot move yet. Also gets bored of being in the house dry quickly so I’m on CBeebies entertainer duty while it’s her daddy’s lie in day (mine was yesterday).

Trying to get her interested in Bing for my sanity’s sake but not succeeding. Peeing it down with rain so plans of a walk are off, we’ll probably go out for breakfast after her nap (best 20 minutes of my morning!) and then frantically try and think of something out of the house to do in the rain.

So in short, we’re losing the plot and looking forward to Monday when it’s Nanny and Grandad back on duty until the weekend (bad parents!).

Chocolateandcarbs · 29/09/2019 07:40

Just popped some sausages in the oven for breakfast, swimming lessons, pop to pet shop/garden centre place and cook a roast whilst my daughter (haha) naps! Then I need to iron this evening with a glass of wine and some trash on the tv. Could be worse!

Sowingbees · 29/09/2019 07:41

I'm still asleep... Oh no it's Sunday of course I'm bloody awake and have been for hours, tomorrow howewer will sleep through the alarm..

Day in the rain for me, watching my DS1 play rugby at 10am, DS2 play football at 12.30pm and then DD at 2pm. Then wash all above (and the dog) cook a roast and then get ready for the week ahead.

Chocolateandcarbs · 29/09/2019 07:43

Oh and the washing of course!!

Toomanycats99 · 29/09/2019 07:43

I am off to London to do my Mumsnet product test! Not really the weather for it.......

ohmysoul · 29/09/2019 07:46

I'm still in bed, I was up with DD the teething toddler 4 times in the night so DH got up with her at 5. I'll go for a run in a minute, then DH will go for a run when I get back. Get DD down for a nap (hopefully) then shower and get ready for church at 12.15. Get back mid afternoon and start getting ready for the week ahead.
